FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY continued its Spring 2012 season with Randie Levine-Miller's "SHOWSTOPPER DIVOS - A SWELL PARTY" on April 29 starring Tony Award nominated actor Stephen Bogardus, Drama Desk Award winner Jim Brochu, Bistro Award winner Nicolas King, star lead singer from The Platters Myles Savage, and acclaimed vocalist/actor Kevin Spiritas.

Scott Siegel's Broadway Ballyhoo, the show that changes every week with new stars and new songs, last night presented a cast that included Marilyn Maye, Billy Stritch, William Blake, and more!

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY continues its Spring 2012 season with the return engagement of Grammy Award nominated singer and entertainer MARILYN MAYE. Her new show - "The Happiest Sound In Town" - is her annual birthday celebration and features some of her most-requested numbers including "Guess Who I Saw Today," "Bye Bye Country Boy," "Rain" and "Golden Rainbow." Another highlight of the show, "Come In From The Rain," was a personal favorite of Johnny Carson; Maye performed it many times on "The Tonight Show" at his personal invitation. Maye's recent local appearances have been received with rave reviews and full houses. The show runs through Saturday, May 5 at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street). The 'devil-may-care,' style and incomparable charm of Frank Sinatra surge through the microphone once again at Cary Hoffman's 'riveting' show, My Sinatra. This one man musical explores the sometimes strange, frequently hilarious, and always interesting life of Hoffman himself; A Sinatra idolizer with an unparalleled ability to channel the voice of Ol' Blue Eyes. Throughout My Sinatra, Hoffman interweaves his personal tale of musical obsession with the star, telling his own hard to believe larger-than-life story, highlighting it with 'mesmerizing' (The LA Times) performances of Sinatra's greatest hits. Last night's performance of The Broadway Ballyhoo at Feinstein's (Park & 61st Street) marked the fifth month of this critically acclaimed and popular musical revue series. Betsy Wolfe (Merrily, We Roll Along), Tony DeSare (Nightclub Star), Scott Coulter (The Stephen Schwartz Show) and Mark Aaron James (Guitarist - Singer/Songwriter) starred.

Amra-Faye Wright, who is currently starring as Velma Kelly in the Broadway musical Chicago, returned to Feinstein's at Loews Regency, April 3 and 5, to perform her celebrated cabaret act.

Canadian television personality and concert star Gregory Charles began his special, one-week engagement at The Café Carlyle on April 3, and BroadwayWorld caught him in action. Backed by a band of young musicians from Montreal, Charles 'artfully blends songs from an astonishing spectrum of eras, styles and cultures. Each of the music and era-spanning shows he spontaneously creates is one-of-a-kind.'

Last night, April 3, Nicolas King made his solo debut at The Iridium NYC, under the musical baton of legendary Mike Renzi and the Mike Renzi Trio. The show delivered Broadway ballads, swinging favorites and, of course, selections from the Great American Songbook.

On Monday night, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present the return of "Eleven O'Clock Numbers," a musical revue that ran for eight months at Feinstein's at The Regency. Starring it's original stars Christina Bianco, Carole J. Bufford and Scott Coulter, the show featured show-stopping Broadway songs from the 1930's to the present. The critically acclaimed late-night weekly Broadway songfest continued last night, March 22, with another all-star cast headed by Broadway star Karen Mason (Wonderland, Sunset Blvd.), Drama Desk Nominee Christina Bianco (Newsical, The Musical), Stephen Mo Hanan (Original in Cats, Jolson & Co.), Ludmilla Ilieva (award-winning vocalist), and Blair Goldberg (Carrie).

Now through March 31, Grammy nominee Bettye LaVette will bring her cabaret act to Cafe Carlyle. Performances take place Tues-Sat at 8:45 p.m. Cover Tues-Thurs: $70 per person ($40 bar; $120 premium); Cover Fri-Sat: $80 per person ($50 bar seating; $130 premium seating.

On Saturday, March 17 took to the stage with the 60-piece Wilmington Symphony Orchestra at the Kenan Auditorium in Wilmington, NC. Joining her was her band including Bucky Pizzarelli (guitar), John Brown (bass), Steve Bakunis (drums), and musical director Billy Stritch and singer Jim Caruso.

On March 18, cabaret performer Jamie deRoy hosted an evening of her Multi MAC Award-winning variety show, Jamie deRoy & Friends at the intimate cabaret hot-spot Metropolitan Room. Joining Jamie on this spring evening were classical violinist Daisy Jopling, comedy's lovable Queen of Mean, Lisa Lampanelli, ten-time MAC Award winner and three-time Bistro Award winner Karen Mason (Wonderland, Mamma Mia!); Tony Award nominee Valarie Pettiford (Fosse, Sophisticated Ladies), writer/comedian/political satirist and CBS & Food Channel personality Mo Rocca and award-winning songwriter (The River, Garth Brooks; Nobody Wants To Be Lonely, Ricky Martin & Christina Aguilera) and recording artist, Victoria Shaw.
