All the excitement of the Broadway stage will be broadcast into viewers' homes this week, as Broadway Week has returned to LATE NIGHT WITH Jimmy Fallon (12:35 a.m. ET on NBC) featuring a new musical number each night. Fallon kicked off the festivities with a performance from 'Jimmy Fallon: Back on Broadway,' and you can check out the musical number below!

Yesterday on 'The View,' entertainer William Shatner spoke with the ladies about his new one-man show SHATNER'S WORLD: WE JUST LIVE IN IT, now running for a limited engagement on Broadway. The show takes audiences on a voyage through Shatner's life and career, from Shakespearean stage actor to internationally known icon and raconteur, known as much for his unique persona as for his expansive body of work on television and film. It marks the actor's first time returning to Broadway since 1962.

On next week's episode of SMASH, titled 'The Cost of Art,' Karen needs to start learning how to get ahead in the world of Broadway and, Eileen tests a new fundraising strategy. Tom goes on a date and, Derek throws a party for a hot young celebrity, played by Nick Jonas). Check out a preview below!

Bailey Hanks, who dazzled audiences as Elle Woods in 'Legally Blonde, The Musical' on Broadway repeats the lead role in Diablo Theatre Company's production of the show, which runs through March 3. Hanks won the role in 'Legally Blonde, The Musical' after a nationwide search and audition process aired on MTV. She performed the show at Broadway's Palace Theatre until it closed in October of 2008.

Josh Young, who will be starring in the role of Judas in the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of Jesus Christ Superstar is engaged to be married to his girlfriend of one year, Alia Rosenstock. Alia is the Associate Artist Manager at Dean Artists Management in Toronto; specializing in classical singers, directors and conductors. No wedding date has been announced.

South Bend Civic Theatre will present Sticks and Bones by David Rabe and directed by Scott Jackson. The prduction will run March 30-April 8.

Odyssey Theatre announces its 26th season of Theatre under the Stars in Strathcona Park. From July 26 to August 26, 2012 the company presents Marivaux's comic masterpiece The Game of Love and Chance, while Rag and Bone Puppet Theatre's A Promise is a Promise will be offered to young audiences on Wednesday afternoons. Marivaux's 18th century classic comedy will delight audiences with its tantalizing and witty exploration of love and class prejudice. Aristocratic lovers, who have not met yet, disguise themselves as their servants to size each other up before agreeing to the marriage proposed by their fathers. To further the ruse, the lovers persuade their servants to assume identities as the masters. This enthralling play, imbued with sensuality, intrigue and disguises, deals with subtle psychological explorations of love in relation to forbidden passion, which still has relevance today.

The Greely Players will present The Sound of Music March 28 to April 1, 2012, at the Greely Community Centre. The production will feature direction by Tara Shannon Renaud, choreography by Jesse Gervais, and musical direction by John Pohran with the Canterbury Orchestra.

According to the New York Times, Al Hirschfeld, who passed away in 2003, will get his own biography in the near future. Ellen Stern, who wrote about the artist in 1987 for GQ, will write the book, which will be released in 2015.

Opera Idaho will present Douglas Moore's The Ballad of Baby Doe, April 13 & 15, 2012. Based on the lives of actual historical figures Horace Tabor, Elizabeth "Baby" Doe Tabor, and Augusta Tabor, the opera tracks their lives from Horace and Baby Doe's meeting to the death of Horace. "Always Through the Changing" is a postscript ending foretelling Baby's death. It is Moore's most famous opera and one of the few American operas to be in the standard repertory. Especially famous are the title heroine's five arias: "Letter Aria," "Willow Song," "I Knew it Was Wrong", "Gold is a Fine Thing", and "Always Through the Changing." Horace Tabor's "Warm as the Autumn Light" is also frequently heard. Distinguished sopranos who have portrayed Baby Doe include Beverly Sills (Moore's favorite interpreter of the role), Karan Armstrong and Elizabeth Futral.

Knock 'Em Dead Dinner theatre will present Not Now, Darling, May 11 - June 9, 2012. This hilarious farce set box-office records in Paris, London and New York. This is the tale of two unlikely partners in a fur salon, Bodley the philanderer and Crouch the guileless innocent. The action of the play involves girlfriends, suspicious husbands and wives, intrigue, scantily clad girls clapped hurriedly into closets, the usual mistaken identities and non-stop laughter. It all becomes part of the hilarious doings, as everything somehow manages to work out as it should.
