On Monday, SEPTEMBER 24, at 7:30pm the National Touring Company of WICKED will host "THE WICKED ROCKY HORROR SHOW", a staged concert performance of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show - Book, music & lyrics by Richard O'Brien. Held at The New Tropicana Las Vegas Historic Showroom, the event will feature the company of WICKED. The net proceeds of this event will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Las Vegas's Golden Rainbow.

GWB Entertainment and Shanghai Culture Square Theatre are excited to announce a return season of Ultimate Broadway 2012. The concert series opened the Shanghai Culture Square Theatre last year and starred Eden Espinosa, Lea Salonga, Ria Jones, Kevin Kern and Brad Little. Due to the major success of the concerts, a return season is on sale for October 2012. The multi-million dollar venue has been developed as both a producing and receiving house specializing in Musical Theatre.

Rehearsals have begun for David Mamet's fiendishly funny comedy "November," which will be presented at the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum, September 26 through November 4, 2012. The opening is set for October 7. In addition to previously announced cast members Ed Begley, Jr., Felicity Huffman and Rod McLachlan, "November" will feature Gregory Cruz and Todd Weeks.

Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, will open its 2012-2013 20th anniversary season-long celebration on Thursday, September 6th with The Man Who Came to Dinnerby Moss Hart and George S. On October 9 the seven members of the critically acclaimed theater troupe PigPen Theatre Co.-the only company to win top honors at the New York International Fringe Festival two years in a row-release their first album, Bremen, to the general public. First released in April to friends and supporters of the company, the album is a collection of standalone original indie-folk compositions that bear the group's signature storytelling voice and acoustic instrumentations by each of its members. The Grove Theatre is proud to announce the opening of the long awaited Fiddler on the Roof, starring Isaac Keith Swann as Tevya. Set in 1905 in the small Jewish village of Anatevka, Tevye, a poor dairyman, tries to instill in his five daughters the traditions of his tight-knit Jewish community in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. Tevye attempts to preserve his family's traditions in a changing world. Tevye's daughter Tzeitel wants to marry a poor tailor instead of the middle-aged butcher her father has chosen for her in the tradition of arranged marriages. Tevye is forced to choose between his daughter's happiness and his culture's beloved traditions.

Emmy Award-winning actor Sean Hayes (NBC's "Will & Grace") will guest star in a multi-episode arc on NBC's SMASH as Terrence Falls, a comedic television and film star who is making his Broadway debut in the musical "Liaisons," based on the novel "Les Liaisons Dangereuses." Due to a series of comic circumstances, he becomes a major thorn in the side for Ivy Lynn (Megan Hilty) and other characters. It is sometimes referred to as the "San Francisco Exodus of 1858" a little-known part of the City's history in which hundreds of African Americans fled discrimination and the threat of slavery for the safety of a Canadian exile. Choreographer Joanna Haigood and her Zaccho Dance Theatre (www.zaccho.org) are marking the iconic event with free public performances of her powerful work Sailing Away. Performances will be given in three continuous cycles, September 13, 14, 15, and 16 at 12noon, 1:30pm and 3pm daily starting at Market Street and Powell.
