The producers of the new Broadway revival of THE HEIRESS have announced that the production will now play its final performance on Saturday, February 9 at 7:00 p.m. (note the new early curtain time). The previously scheduled Sunday, February 10 closing performance has been cancelled to enable Jessica Chastain, who plays the title character, to attend the BAFTA Awards (the British equivalent to the Academy Awards) where she is nominated for Best Actress on Sunday, February 10th in London. Ms. Chastain is nominated for an Academy Award and has already received Golden Globe and Critics Choice Awards for her performance in the film Zero Dark Thirty. THE HEIRESS is currently playing at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre (219 W. 48th St. NYC).

Starring Antonio Banderas (Desperado), Mark Strong (Zero Dark Thirty), Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) and Tahar Rahim (The Eagle), Day of the Falcon is an epic film that tackles honor, greed, betrayal and love between rival kingdoms. Just as the two groups cease to fight after years of bloodshed, oil is discovered between their territories, reigniting their once violent past. It's now up to their children-young lovers who married in hopes of bringing the families together-to find a way to end the violence and to bring peace to the land.

The Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Elizabeth Doran, Executive Director), in association with David Shor Productions, announced today that the world premiere of SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE - THE MUSICAL will now be directed by Artistic Director Sheldon Epps and is scheduled to perform May 24 - June 23, 2013, with a press opening night on June 2, at 5:00 p.m. Lonny Price was previously announced to helm The Playhouse production, however, other commitments have not allowed him to continue with this engagement. A developmental workshop is also scheduled to take place in early March. Tickets are currently available with a 2012 - 2013 season subscription purchase. Single tickets will go on sale at a later date.

2013 promises to be a banner year for Tom Wopat. From the Feb. 12 release of his eighth recording 'I'VE GOT YOUR NUMBER,' to his role in Quentin Tarrantino's highly anticipated film 'Django Unchained,' (released 2012 Christmas) and the release of the ABC-TV family musical movie 'Lovestruck,' in which he stars with Jane Seymour. While one can't help recall his starring role in the '80s hit television series 'The Dukes of Hazzard,' it is Tom Wopat, jazz vocalist and the Tony nominated star of Broadway that's been garnering high critical acclaim for the last two decades.

Tony nominated actress Montego Glover has been tapped to play the recurring role of ‘Marissa' in Season two of NBC's SMASH, currently filming in New York. Marissa is described as the compassionate, authoritative stage manager. Glover won a Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle award for Best Actress in a Musical for the Tony Award Winning MEMPHIS on Broadway and has been previously seen on The Good Wife, White Collar and Made In Jersey. She is repped by DGRW and Liebman Entertainment.

'From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert For Sandy Hook' will take place 7:00 pm on January 28, 2013, at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, Connecticut. The evening will be a concert of love and healing for the Newtown community from the composers, musicians and more than 100 stars of Broadway together with over 100 students from several Newtown dance groups and the Newtown High School Chamber Choir. All proceeds and donations will go directly to United Way of Western Connecticut's Sandy Hook School Support Fund. Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart will star on Broadway in a limited season repertoire of Harold Pinter's No Man's Land and Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot, directed by Sean Mathias, in the fall of 2013.

The producers of JERSEY BOYS are pleased to announce that Andy Karl will be returning to the Broadway company on Tuesday, February 12. Karl assumes the role of ‘Tommy DeVito' following the departure of current star Jeremy Kushnier after the Sunday, February 10 performance.

Megan Hilty's debut album, It Happens All The Time will be available March 12, 2013 from Portrait, Sony Masterworks' new adult contemporary imprint, in partnership with Columbia Records. The album is produced by Grammy-winners Andy Zulla and Jimmy Hogarth and showcases a different side of Hilty, the beloved star of the hit musical TV drama series Smash.

Beginning February 12, Andrew Samonsky will join the company and assume the role of "Neville Landless". Original cast member Andy Karl will play his final performance on February 10.

Bock and Harnick's Fiorello!, the opening musical of the Encores! 20th Anniversary season, will star Kate Baldwin, Erin Dilly, Jenn Gambatese, Shuler Hensley and Emily Skinner, with Danny Rutigliano as Fiorello LaGuardia. Fiorello! will be directed by Gary Griffin with choreography by Alex Sanchez and music direction by Rob Berman. The show will run for seven performances from January 30 - February 3 at New York City Center.

After completing 23 episodes of the backstage web-series known as 'Rock of Ages Productions', Mitchell Jarvis has completed the final work in the series, 'A Rockwork Orange'. This dark and zany parody of 5 of Jarvis' favorite films, is shot exclusively at intermissions of actual Broadway performances of 'Rock of Ages'. From their tiny dressing rooms tucked away in the bowls of the Helen Hays Theatre, the entire cast is represented in this tiny epic. Check it out below!
