MCC Theater's annual Miscast gala, one of the most exciting and unique theater events in town, was held earlier this week at the Hammerstein Ballroom. At the event, Broadway's hottest stars performed songs from roles in which they would never be cast. Jeremy Jordan, who sang 'Let Me Be Your Star' at last year's event returned to sing Frozen's female anthem, 'Let It Go.' Check out his full performance below!

Earlier this year, the music of Disney's mega-hit film FROZEN was celebrated with live performances at Los Angeles' Vibrato Grill Jazz club. Kristen Bell (voice of Anna), Idina Menzel (voice of Elsa), Josh Gad (voice of Olaf) and Santino Fontana (voice of Hans) took the stage, accompanied by a live orchestra conducted by David Metzger, to perform songs from the Oscar®-nominated, Golden Globe®-winning film, including the Oscar-nominated 'Let It Go.' The Michael Grandage Company production of The Cripple of Inishmaan, by Martin McDonagh, starring Daniel Radcliffe and the critically acclaimed West End cast, directed by Tony Award-winnerMichael Grandage, will open on Broadway during the afternoon of Sunday, April 20 at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). Multi-Platinum recording artist and actress Vanessa Williams officially joined the cast of Broadway's After Midnight last night as 'Special Guest Star.' Williams will play performances through Sunday, May 11, 2014 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47th Street). Directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, After Midnight began preview performances on Friday, October 18, 2013, and opened to rave reviews on Sunday, November 3, 2013. Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA has just made its Philadelphia premiere at the Academy of Music. With newly reinvented staging and stunning scenic design, this new version of PHANTOM, the most successful musical of all-time, is performed by a cast and orchestra of 52, making this one of the largest productions on tour in North America. TUTS Underground will present the sizzling and explosive musical Murder Ballad. The steamy quartet of actors includes Steel Burkhardt, Pat McRoberts, Lauren Molina and Kristin Warren. The New York City Center Encores! production of Frank Loesser's The Most Happy Fella, running for seven performances beginning tonight, April 2 - 6, 2014, is set to star Laura Benanti, Shuler Hensley, Cheyenne Jackson, Heidi Blickenstaff, Brian Cali, Bradley Dean, Zachary James, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Jessica Molaskey and Kevin Vortmann. Today in 1992, Hamlet opened at Criterion Center Stage Right, where it ran for 45 performances. Set in the Kingdom of Denmark, the play dramatizes the revenge Prince Hamlet exacts on his uncle Claudius for murdering King Hamlet, Claudius's brother and Prince Hamlet's father, and then succeeding to the throne and taking as his wife Gertrude, the old king's widow and Prince Hamlet's mother. The play vividly portrays both true and feigned madness - from overwhelming grief to seething rage - and explores themes of treachery, revenge, incest, and moral corruption.
