Having recently been described by Boston Magazine as 'a unique initiative in the performing arts in the city,' Fort Point Theatre Channel is eager to announce the premiere of two one-act plays: Trapped Inside a Low-fat Twinkie by Silvia Graziano and Sunday with Joy by James Swindell.

The Actors' Gang presents its new counter-programming Axis Mundi Series, a year-round program of arts and culture events, on Monday and Tuesday evenings beginning Monday, November 1.

Just in time for Halloween, Glee: The Music, The Rocky Horror Glee Show, hits stores on Tuesday October 19. Paying homage to Richard O'Brien's cult musical masterpiece, the Glee cast injects their distinctive style to such Rocky Horror Show classics as 'Time Warp,' 'Damn it, Janet' and 'Whatever Happened to Saturday Night,' 'Touch A Touch A Touch A Touch Me'. The LA Phil New Music Group begins the Green Umbrella 2010/11 season with a program featuring music from Bang on a Can composers Michael Gordon, Julia Wolfe and David Lang, Tuesday, October 19, at 8 p.m. The program includes Gordon's Weather One, Wolfe's Dark Full Ride and Early That Summer and Lang's 'Heroin' from Songs for Lou Reed (accompanied by video by Doug Aitken) as well as the West Coast premiere of Lang's Pierced. The performance is led by conductor Jeffrey Milarsky and features Grammy award nominee vocalist Theo Bleckmann and LA Phil cellist Gloria Lum performing 'Heroin.'

The new series from BBC Worldwide Productions pairs a celebrity with a world class ice skater as they prepare to compete in front of a live audience in a televised ice skating competition. The skating pairs will be critiqued by a panel of expert judges and will receive a set of scores based on artistry and technique and by viewers at home, with one couple being eliminated each week. 'Skating with the Stars' will kick off its six-episode run with a live premiere episode on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 22 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
