The release of “Mercenaries” is fittingly accompanied with a striking official video. Directed by Mark Jordan (a longtime friend of the band), the video holds a candle to revolutionary writers such as William S. Burroughs and Brion Gysin, while also paying homage to Throbbing Gristle trailblazer Genesis Breyer P-Orridge.

The track is cut from the band’s debut collection of songs, the eponymously-titled: ‘The Clockworks’ EP, which will be released on 1 April, via It’s Creation Baby. Loosely inspired by the Samuel Beckett play of the same name, “Endgame” is as literary as it is biting literal; it’s a song that grapples with the paranoia of losing your edge.

Durham, N.C.-based songwriter Kamara Thomas is readying the May 13 release of her first full length album Tularosa: An American Dreamtime. The musician, performer, and activist will debut the record in culmination of a multidisciplinary project nearly two decades in the making. 'Tularosa' will debut later this week.

Legendary queer music icon Bitch is excited to announce April and May tour dates. The tour will begin on April 2 at Crystal Ballroom at the Somerville Theatre outside of Boston with support from Catie Curtis and Melissa Ferrick and will hit markets such as Philadelphia, New York City, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Minneapolis and more.

Hovvdy, the Texas duo comprised of Charlie Martin and Will Taylor, share a video for their new single “Everything,” directed by Boone Patrello. The track, co-produced by the band and Andrew Sarlo (Big Thief, Bon Iver, Dijon), was written during the sessions for their 2021 album True Love, out now on Grand Jury. One of the most personal and moving songs from the album, the song is named after drummer McKenzie Smith’s infant son “Noble” who was born with a rare brain disorder. Filmed at Modern Electric Sound Recorders in Dallas, Texas, the video is was directed by Rett Rogers and is the third in a series of live performances.
