The 2022 season of the Hollywood Bowl launches with multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Gwen Stefani for Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl. This special event benefits the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s learning and community programs, which serve more than 150,000 youth, families and teachers every year.

Previously announced Oscars presenters include Ruth E. Carter, Kevin Costner, Anthony Hopkins, Lily James, Daniel Kaluuya, Zoë Kravitz, Mila Kunis, Lady Gaga, John Leguizamo, Simu Liu, Rami Malek, Lupita Nyong’o, Rosie Perez, Chris Rock, Naomi Scott, Wesley Snipes, Uma Thurman, John Travolta and Yuh-Jung Youn.

The series stars Robin Thede, Gabrielle Dennis, Ashley Nicole Black and Skye Townsend. The new season will feature more than 40 celebrity guest stars, including Ava DuVernay, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Raven-Symoné, Wanda Sykes, David Alan Grier, Jemele Hill, Kel Mitchell, Michael Ealy, Wayne Brady, Bob the Drag Queen, Vanessa Williams, and more.

Shakira, Liza, and Shaquille will perform the new dance challenges created specifically for the show, which the contestants will have to tackle.  They will also enlist the talents of guest celebrities who will submit their own challenges.

The projects will turn iconic Dr. Deuss books into new animated preschool series and specials. The projects are inspired by treasured stories like Horton Hears a Who!; The Sneetches; One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish; and Wacky Wednesday, in addition to lovable characters like Thidwick the Big-Hearted Moose.
