Beginning Jan 18th-22nd 2012, award-winning comedian, filmmaker, actor and author Don Barnhart returns home to Las Vegas from his extensive world tour to headline Big Al's Comedy Club at The Orleans Hotel & Casino. Barnhart is the star of the new documentary, "Finding The Funny" where he explores whether or not you can teach someone to be funny.

The quartet of gentlemen who wowed audiences in PLAID TIDINGS, will continue in the classic hit, FOREVER PLAID. The production opens Tuesday January 10th in the Fireside Stage at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres.

This February, FOLLOW THE LEADER, an evening of short plays inspired by the theme of cults will receive its world premiere from February 2nd to February 25th at Triskelion Arts in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. In FOLLOW THE LEADER, the topic of cults and cult life is examined from multiple perspectives, including the worlds of high-school, personal training, online fantasy communities, parenting, competitive gymnastics, and even "the elements."

In celebration of the upcoming Black History month and in keeping with their traditions of exploring and discovering cultural freedoms and expressions, Hart House is pleased to host an evening of performance and discussion. Told through a series of comedic sketches,The Black-Jew Dialogues features Larry Jay Tish and Ron Jones as they take the audience on a hysterical and poignant ride through a discussion of their own experiences, the history of their people, and why there has been a growing rift between the two groups since the early 70's. Through their stories the audience gains insight to the true nature of prejudice and how our inability to face our own biases separates us in ways that we may not even think about.
