The Yokohama Theatre Group present the 2010 Cambridge University Shakespeare tour put on by the Pembroke Players. Previously, the Players presented THE TEMPEST last autumn. This time around they will present MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, one of Shakespeare's most popular comedies, on September 30th and October 1st. Love is lost and won as two of literature's most famous lovers (Benedick and Beatrice) square off against each other.

Bach Festival Society of Winter Park Announces Fred Rogers Family Series Not on 2010-2011 Schedule

The Bach Festival Society of Winter Park announces that the Fred Rogers Family Series will not be scheduled on its 2010-2011 Season. For the 2010-2011 Season, the Society has developed a partnership with the quartet Brooklyn Rider, A Gift for Music, and Orange County Public Schools to create a unique music residency, bringing high-quality classical music to nearly 700 young music students this year. Brooklyn Rider is well known for its collaborations with Yo-Yo Ma on his Silk Road Project.

Island Stage Left continues their tour of the 'Shakespeare Under the Stars' series with HENRY V, opening in Wold (1062 Wold Rd) on Friday, July 16th. The production already performed in Orcas, Waldron, Shaw, and Lopez and after closing at Wold on July 25th, will continued to Roche from July 29th to August 22nd. Admission is free but donations are welcomed. Performances in Wold run Fridays through Sundays at 8:15 PM. It is suggested to dress warmly and bring a blanket.
