Gingold Theatrical Group's PROJECT SHAW, under the leadership of Artistic Director David Staller, continues its 11th Season when it presents its 114th concert presentation with George Bernard Shaw's GENEVA on Monday, June 20 at 7pm, at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2537 Broadway at 95th Street).

VOICES TRANSPOSED: THE REFUGEE CRISIS, a benefit performance concert, is the collective response of 12 dance companies to the ongoing plight of displaced persons worldwide. Two nights of groundbreaking performances will raise awareness of the refugee humanitarian crisis, currently occurring in Syria and elsewhere, and raise charitable funds for USA for UNHCR and the Refugee Immigrant Fund (RIF).

Audiences of over 52,000 enjoyed an impressive range of world-class dance performances and events at International Dance Festival Birmingham 2016 (IDFB 2016), up by over 50% in comparison to the previous festival in 2014.  One of Europe's biggest and most diverse dance festivals, the fifth edition from 1-22 May, produced by DanceXchange in partnership with Birmingham Hippodrome, was a considerable success.

Producers Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Group announced today principal cast changes for the Broadway production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, directed by Harold Prince. The longest-running show in Broadway history, and one of the most successful stage productions of all-time, the musical will welcome three actors to principal roles beginning Monday, June 13.

Theatre Royal Bath Productions presents a brand new version of Patrick Marber's After Miss Julie, with Helen George, Richard Flood and Amy Cudden at Richmond Theatre from Mon 11 to Sat 16 July as part of a UK tour, prior to a West End transfer.

Sydney Theatre Company announced today that Artistic Director Jonathan Church has stepped down from the role.

Tron Theatre Company presents Martin McDonagh's THE LONESOME WEST on July 6-23, with press performance on July 8. Martin McDonagh's bleak but blackly comic Leenane Trilogy made his name, and the plays have been celebrated all over the world. Tron Theatre Company previously staged The Beauty Queen of Leenane in 2001 (dir. Iain Heggie).

On Saturday 14 May, Birmingham Hippodrome held its sixth successful Gala Dinner on its famous stage for nearly 300 guests.  Over £50,000 was raised for the theatre's award-winning Hippodrome CREATIVE programme of learning, access and free community performance.  

The third play in Circle Theatre's 35th anniversary season is Tom Dudzick's backstage comedy, DON'T TALK TO THE ACTORS. A budding playwright's dreams are swept away into a theatrical nightmare when his play is optioned for Broadway. Mr. Dudzick's semi-autobiographical tale is bound to be another fan favorite at Circle, like his previous productions Over the Tavern (2005); The Last Mass at St. Casimir's (2007); Hail Mary! (2009); and Miracle on South Division Street (2013). 

The League of Professional Theatre Women is pleased to present CARMEN DE LAVALLADE, actress, dancer, choreographer, for the next Oral History interview. She will sit down with dance journalist Deborah Jowitt to discuss her large body of work. The event will take place on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 6:00 pm in the Bruno Walter Auditorium of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts on 65th Street & Amsterdam Avenue. Admission is free, but seats will be on a first-come-first-seated basis.

WEST END BARES, the hottest theatrical fundraiser of the year that benefits the Make A Difference Trust is back, bigger and barer for 2016 with two shows on Sunday 25 September at 7.00pm and 9.30pm. After six sell out years, this year's show is moving to the beautiful Novello Theatre in the heart of the West End.

The Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company presents Romeo and Juliet, the fifth production in the inaugural Plays at the Garrick season. The cast features Lily James (Juliet), Richard Madden(Romeo), Derek Jacobi (Mercutio), Meera Syal as the Nurse. Romeo and Juliet opened at the Garrick Theatre on 12 May until 13 August. Press night was 25 May. The production will be broadcast live to cinemas on 7 July, and details of participating cinemas can be found at branaghtheatrelive.com

Birmingham Repertory Theatre bring a ground-breaking new production of Gogol's hilarious satire The Government Inspector to the Sheffield Crucible from Friday 17 to Saturday 25 June.

Portland Ovations announced their 2016-17 season at Portland's Masonic Temple on Wednesday night to a crowd of just over 150 Members and guests at its Annual Preview Party. Attendees enjoyed food and cocktails before being treated to a special glimpse of the new season, composed of over 30 performances at five different venues, and opening with Tony and Emmy Award-winning chanteuse Kristin Chenoweth on September 29th at Merrill Auditorium.

Artistic Directors of Paines Plough James Grieve and George Perrin today revealed the line-up for COME TO WHERE I'M FROM: LONDON, which will take place across six London venues from 27 June until 6 July. Partnering with new writing theatre company Tamasha, Paines Plough will present 26 writers from across London performing short plays about the place they call home. On Monday, June 6th, 2016, many popular and talented Broadway performers will shine a light on Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) at the 2nd annual breathless on Broadway benefit at Sardi's Restaurant, 234 West 44th Street, NYC. For one night, some of Broadway's favorites, including Max Von Essen (An American in Paris, Evita, Dance of the Vampires, Jesus Christ Superstar), Giuseppe Bausillo (Cats, Aladdin, Newsies, Billy Elliot), Michael Lanning (Bonnie & Clyde, Civil War), Zachary Sayle (Newsies Nat'l Tour), and Liv Rand will help phaware global association raise awareness for Pulmonary Hypertension (PH), a disease that currently has no cure but can be managed with proper care and treatment. The benefit evening includes a Red Carpet, dinner and the show.

Director Sean Foley, who has recently enjoyed sell-out success adapting and directing The Painkiller in the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company season of Plays at the Garrick will, starting this autumn, under producer Mark Goucher, direct two new productions in the West End.

An absurd, dark comedy about a New Jersey family who finds themselves suddenly dealing with an environmental cleanup in their backyard - literally - makes its debut at George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick, N.J., with a pair of 8pm performances June 3 and 4, with post-play discussions to follow each night.
