Award-winning writer Tanika Gupta returns to Theatre Royal Stratford East to debut her hilarious and uplifting new comedy LOVE N STUFF on the Main Stage - three years after its first successful run in the Studio. Love N Stuff audience favourite Rina Fatania returns to play the role of Bindi and will be joined by new lead Nicholas Khan in the role of Mansoor. This funny, fast-paced and engaging show sees two actors playing a breathtaking 20 characters and is set to have audiences laughing out loud. Directed and designed by Kerry Michael (Artistic Director, Theatre Royal Stratford East) the show will run from Friday 3 June until Saturday 25 June.

Today the Citizens Theatre announces its Autumn 2016 Season, featuring a major new Main Stage production of Harry Gibson's adaptation of Trainspotting, Irvine Welsh's controversial depiction of the drug culture of 1980s Edinburgh, directed by Citizens Theatre's Main Stage Director in Residence Gareth Nicholls; a large-scale community production written by Johnny McKnight based on the famous Glasgow urban myth of 'The Gorbals Vampire'; smash-hit musical Glasgow Girls' return to the Citizens Theatre following a fresh run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe; riotous comedy of manners The Rivals directed by Dominic Hill in a co-production with Bristol Old Vic and Liverpool Everyman &Playhouse; Dundee Rep's hugely successful 2015 production of John McGrath's The Cheviot, the Stag and the Black, Black Oil; and a new festive production for all the family of Hansel and Gretel directed by Dominic Hill.

Circa's groundbreaking new work, IL RITORNO, fusing its world famous stripped-back acrobatics with baroque opera, will be performed at Arts Centre Melbourne's Playhouse from 17-20 August. Over 75 taut minutes, it retells Claudio Monteverdi's Il Ritorno D'Ulisse in Patria, intermingling it with folk songs and new compositions and percolating it through the lens of Primo Levi's post WW2 European displacement.

Tulsa Opera, one of the nation's most veteran regional opera companies and an historic incubator of rising vocal talent, has appointed Tobias Picker as its new Artistic Director effective June 1, 2016.  Picker, who has been hailed by The Wall Street Journal as 'our finest composer for the lyric stage,' will collaborate with General Director/CEO Greg Weber on overall artistic vision for the company, selection of repertoire and production teams, and casting of singers.

Shakespeare's TITUS ANDRONICUS comes to Rose Playhouse, Bankside, this summer, running from 5th to 30th July. This new production is presented by New York-based company Luvas Theatre and London's Time Zone Theatre in association with the Rose Playhouse. It will be directed by South Korean director Jung Han Kim, who trained with renowned The Living Theatre in New York, and will devise the play using original and new text, movement and sound. Part of Contemporary Shakespeare, a project that brings together artists from different countries to present Shakespeare's plays in London and New York City this summer.

One of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful plays in recent years, PROOF, by American playwright David Auburn, will be presented on June 9-19 at The Alex Theatre in St Kilda, by Melbourne's newest theatre company Artefact, an independent production company committed to producing important and influential theatre. It will be directed by Emily O'Brien-Brown.

The European premiere of Rex Pickett's acclaimed comedy SIDEWAYS opens tonight at St James Theatre, directed by David Grindley, for a limited run until July 9. Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce the arrival of the Hamptons' newest diva, with the world premiere of THE FORGOTTEN WOMAN, a new play by Jonathan Tolins, directed by Noah Himmelstein. Accidental Pictures is proud to introduce an online poetry miniseries entitled THE PRIDE PROJECT. They release seven poems every Monday for seven consecutive weeks through June 27th, 2016 on Facebook and YouTube. These poems, written by Timothy Ware (Broadway's KINKY BOOTS), are performed by 10 American actors of African, Latin, Asian, and European descent. While Cathy (Shakespeare Tavern's Laura Cole) built a career as a 'rock star academic,' Gwen (Jill Hames Graham) built a home with her husband and children. Decades later, when Cathy returns home, Cathy and Gwen realize the depth of their unfulfillments and so begin a risky game of musical chairs as each tries to claim the other's territory.
