The Austin Music Awards (AMAs) announced today more musicians to perform at the 36th Annual Awards to be held Wednesday, February 28 at ACL Live at the Moody Theater. Acclaimed songwriter JOHN FULLBRIGHT and JOHN HIATT, who the Los Angeles Times calls, '...one of rock's most astute singer-songwriters of the last 40 years,' will take the stage along with singer, songwriter, fiddler extraordinaire PHOEBE HUNT and celebrated songwriter MICHAEL FRACASSO. Add to this Austin's beloved ALEJANDRO ESCOVEDO and DAVÍD GARZA and the AMAs have created a most memorable night of music once again. And as in years past, don't be surprised if the AMAs produce a VERY SPECIAL GUEST or two.

Curb Records' twin brother pop duo FF5 announce the highly anticipated release of their new EP EL COMPADRE on March 2. Fueled by their new single 'Fire on the Highway,' available now, the track gives fans a first taste of what to expect from EL COMPADRE. Revved up by an addition to Spotify's New Music Friday playlist, FOTH garnered over 200K streams in its first 10 days. YouTube revealed the casting for the series SWIPE RIGHT, a multi-generational comedy about relationships - both romantic and familial. Based on a true story from Carly Craig, this eight-episode comedy series about dating and relationships in the digital age will debut on YouTube Red in 2018.SWIPE RIGHT, currently in production, stars Craig (American Housewife, Hall Pass) as “Olivia.” Leading the cast as series regulars are award-winning actress Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction, After Hours, The Whole Nine Yards, Desperately Seeking Susan) as “Mary” and Chelsea Frei (Hostess, Audition, Wolf) as “Jayne.”

Walter Martin (co-writer/multi-instrumentalist of The Walkmen) will release his new album Reminisce Bar & Grill on February 16th via Ile Flottante Music. His fourth solo record since The Walkmen's hiatus in 2013, it's one that might throw fans of his two award winning kids' records (2014's We're All Young Together and last year's My Kinda Music) for a loop. Listeners will still recognize the same affable narrator and quirky musical style, but here the subject matter is shifted dramatically. With frankness, poignancy and humor, Martin, now a 43-year-old married man with two young children, squarely tackles the subject of adulthood - specifically, his own.

Hulu has released the newest trailer for upcoming series HARD SUN. Two detectives with opposing viewpoints are forced to work together in a pre-apocalyptic criminal world. Hard Sun comes from Neil Cross, creator of Luther. Stream all episodes on Hulu March 7.

David Duchovny's new album Every Third Thought is out today (King Baby/GMG.) This is the follow up to Duchovny's music debut, 2015's Hell or Highwater. Recorded at Atomic Sound Brooklyn in December 2016 and late 2017. The album is available in digital format and on streaming services with plans for CD and vinyl to be announced soon.

Lightyear Entertainment and Lobitos Creek Ranch, in association with Scabeba Entertainment and the Buddy Rich Estate, have released the live album The Lost Tales featuring Buddy Rich and his Big Band, recorded in 1985 at the King Street Studios in San Francisco on CD and vinyl LP. The album is part of the Buddy Rich Centennial Celebration. Buddy was born on September 30, 1917.

UK rock trio Reigning Days have released their new single 'Inhaler', the latest track to be taken from their upcoming debut album Eclipse, out April 13th via Marshall Records. 'Inhaler' is an explosion of anthemic rock, opening with a piercing guitar hook before a thunderous bassline drives the tune into its stadium-sized chorus.
