Paramount Network has teamed up with executive producer Shawn Carter for a landmark television event, “Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story,” based on the life and legacy of Trayvon Martin. The six-part non-scripted documentary series will be the definitive look at one of the most talked-about and controversial events in the last decade that spurred the impactful worldwide “Black Lives Matter” movement.

Entering its 29th year, Disney|ABC Television has selected 10 writers for their 2018 Writers Program. The 10 individuals, up from eight, mark a number the writing program hasn't seen since 2008.

Comedy Central President Kent Alterman today announced the renewal of Corporate for a second season. The series, which Variety hailed as “deliciously dark and hilariously ruthless” and Indiewire called “the first great comedy of 2018,” premiered in January as the highest-rated basic-cable primetime comedy of the 2017-2018 season among males 18-34. Corporate airs Wednesdays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT with the season finale airing on March 14. They dropped a few hints this past weekend and now it is official… Metallica's WorldWired Tour returns to North America this Fall!  Following last summer's 25 date sold-out stadium run, this year Metallica is bringing the in-the-round production currently being seen in European arenas to the U.S. and Canada kicking off on September 2, 2018, in Madison, WI.  Along the way they will be visiting 34 cities that they did not go to last year, and a few that they haven't been to in decades, including Grand Forks, ND (nearly 30 years), Sioux Falls, SD, El Paso, TX, Birmingham, AL (nearly 26 years) and State College, PA (20 years).  About time, wouldn't you say?!
