After playing for hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers and to people from across the country and around the world, award-winning singer/songwriter David Ippolito announces that he will perform a one-night concert commemorating 25 years as "That Guitar Man® from Central Park" on April 1st at 7:30PM in the Peter J. Sharp Theater at Symphony Space. The concert is both a celebration and a look back at a uniquely New York musical career, as the singer/songwriter begins to transition to a new career as a playwright. Classical Roots is an important Detroit Symphony Orchestra tradition.  For 37 years, the Classical Roots concert has celebrated African-American contributions to classical music.  Tonight, guest conductor Roderick Cox leads NEA Jazz Master Branford Marsalis and soprano Laquita Mitchell in paying tribute to Jessye Norman and the late Dr. Silas Norman Jr, with a program featuring Gershwin, Marsalis' own composition, and more.

Bucatinsky won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor for his performance on SCANDAL as James Novak. Coral Pena (Blue Bloods) and Charlie Hofheimer (Mad Men) are also joining the 24: LEGACY cast.
