Park Square's 36th season opens with a perceptible crackle when the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning play, AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY comes to its stage in September. Leah Cooper, in her Park Square debut, directs this gripping dark comedy that lit Broadway on fire in 2007.

Produced by The Milk Carton Kids (Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan) and Eric Robinson, PROLOGUE contains nine new songs recorded live and mixed over four days at Marlay Studios in North Hollywood. Under new leadership, The Classical Theatre of Harlem is proud to present two gripping world premiere productions that mark the Company's return to full-scale works. From August 5 - September 4, The Classical Theatre of Harlem will present Shakespeare's great history play, Henry V, in a new staging directed by Jenny Bennett that features OBIE award-winner Ty Jones in the title role. An acclaimed veteran of the Company and driving force behind its survival, Jones heads a cast of 15 in a raw, timeless production. His interpretation of King Henry V not only highlights the character's charisma and inspirational power to lead, but also his heroic faults and morally questionable tactics.

Bryn Mawr College's Performing Arts Series moves into high gear for the 2011-2012 season as it presents five music, dance, and theatre performances that have never been seen or heard in the region. The season begins with a celebrated Celtic singer, the Philadelphia area premiere of a highly touted one-man New York theatre sensation, and a renowned classical quartet. The season will close with the remount of a groundbreaking John Jasperse Company piece and a rare performance with the women of the exhilarating Rennie Harris Puremovement, in a program put together just for the college.

The fully improvised live sitcom, Naked in a Fishbowl, films its next six episodes with a new casting director, Katja Blichfeld (30 Rock, NBC), and a new theater, The Cherry Lane. Starting Monday, July 18 and running through August 15, Naked will run for six episodes starting at 7pm. Each show is 60 minutes long.
