42nd Street Moon presents the American premiere of a full production of THREE SISTERS, with music by Jerome Kern, and book/lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. San Francisco audiences first enjoyed this little-known Kern and Hammerstein musical when 42nd Street Moon's Lost Musical Series presented the American premiere in 1995, in a concert format. With the help of a recent National Endowment for the Arts Grant, the company is now able to mount the first full production ever seen in the United States. Low-priced previews begin November 30, and the show opens on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 6 pm at the Eureka Theatre. It runs through December 18.

Unruly Music explores contemporary trends in chamber music, improvisation, electronic sound, and multimedia, spanning a wide variety of genres and styles. Directed by composer Christopher Burns, Unruly Music is a co-production of the Peck School of the Arts at UWM and the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts.

Victoria Theatre Association presents Town Hall Theatre's Pinkalicious The Musical as part of VTA's ImPACt program, November 4th at 7pm and November 5th at 11am & 3pm, in the Mathile Theatre of the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center, downtown Dayton. Visiting drum and dance troupe Street Beat will host a clinic with local dance and drum students on Saturday, October 22nd at 5pm. The clinic will feature a troupe of dance students and a troupe of drummers who will work with the Los Angeles-based Street Beat. Dancers will work with choreographer Ryan Johnson in one area while drummers will work in the main theater with Ben Hansen, Creator, Director, Composer & Drummer for Street Beat. After 45 minutes of instruction, the two groups will come together for a dazzling production number.

You would be wise to see NATHAN THE WISE, Edward Kemp's new version of Gottholt Lessing's classic drama, presented October 28 to November 19 by Deep Dish Theater Company. Directed by Tony Lea, this play continues the company's eleventh season at University Mall.

Mayor Barrett will visit First Stage (Todd Wehr Theater, Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, 929 N. Water Street, Milwaukee) on Sunday, October 16 at 1:00 p.m.to congratulate First Stage on 25 years of transforming lives through theater with a special proclamation. Though First Stage's 25th anniversary celebration continues all season, the curtain rose on First Stage's inaugural season in October 1987.

Ann Arbor's professional theater, Performance Network, will hold a fall 2011 member drive as a part of its 30th anniversary. It aims to increase its member base by 30%.

Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, now in its 25th Anniversary Season, announces a special appearance this Monday, October 17, at Sidetrack Chicago, 3349 N. Halsted, with Follies cast members Susan Moniz (Sally Durant Plummer) and Brent Barrett (Benjamin Stone). Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman's Follies opened to rave reviews at Chicago Shakespeare Theater on Wednesday, October 12. Due to high ticker demand, the show has been extended by one week, through November 13, 2011.

In her first Las Vegas appearance in more than a decade, legendary entertainer Mitzi Gaynor shares personal stories, moving memories and behind-the-scenes anecdotes from her life and remarkable show business career at The Orleans Showroom, October 15 and 16, each evening at 8 p.m.

On Monday night November 14th, Jonathan Reid Gealt and Matt Hinkley team up to bring you a concert benefiting Broadway Impact! Founded by Rory O'Malley (Book of Mormon), Gavin Creel (Hair), and Jenny Kanelos, Broadway Impact is a grassroots organization of the Theatre community and it's fans, mobilizing in support of marriage equality.
