On Wednesday, May 11th, Morgan Karr officially released his much- anticipated debut EP. An actor, singer and songwriter hailing from Nashville Tennessee, Karr's first release comes after quickly making his mark on the New York City entertainment scene. The album is co-produced by Grammy Nominated Producer Juan Patiño (Lisa Loeb's 'Stay'), Cliff Goldmacher (Jane Monheit, Spencer Day), and Kevin Fisher (Rascal Flatts, Sara Evans).

Last night, May 9, Pace University presented RATED RSO: COLLEGE EDITION, featuring the talents of Pace University's Freshman BFA Musical Theater Class of 2014 and the music of Ryan Scott Oliver (Darling,35mm, Mrs. Sharp) at Joe's Pub.

Transport Group Theatre Company, the winner of a special Drama Desk Award and two OBIE Awards, has announced casting and dates for the New York premiere of Lysistrata Jones, a new musical with a book by Douglas Carter Beane; music and lyrics by Lewis Flinn; directed and choreographed by Dan Knechtges. Previews begin Sunday May 15 on the basketball court of the Judson Memorial Church Gymnasium, 243 Thompson Street at Washington Square South. The opening is set for Sunday, June 5, at 8pm.

BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO is a new American play by Rajiv Joseph starring Robin Williams in his Broadway acting debut and directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Moisés Kaufman. Recently Tony nominated for Best Featured Actor (Arian Moayed), Lighting Design (David Lander) and Sound Design (Acme Sound Partners & Cricket S. Myers), the production opened March 31, at the Richard Rogers Theatre. Last night, the production received a special visit from stage and screen favorite Helen Hunt. The new Broadway musical Baby It's You! tells the inspiring story of Florence Greenberg, the woman who changed the recording world forever when she discovered The Shirelles and created Scepter Records, becoming the music industry's first female powerhouse. The 2009 Tony Award-winning Musical Revival HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical directed by Diane Paulus is headed back to Broadway for a limited run at the St. James Theater (currently home to AMERICAN IDIOT).
