The 48th season of Lincoln Center's Great Performers series, which will run from October 20, 2013 through June 2, 2014, was announced today by Jane Moss, Ehrenkranz Artistic Director. The 2013-2014 season features symphonic and period-instrument chamber orchestra concerts, recital series, and a film series, and includes pre- and post-concert discussions and lectures. Events take place in Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, the Walter Reade Theater, the Elinor Bunin Monroe Film Center, and the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents the U.S. premiere of Ingmar Bergman's Fanny and Alexander by the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm, Sweden. An acclaimed stage adaptation of Ingmar Bergman's four-time Academy Award winning film, inspired in part by the influential Swedish filmmaker's own upbringing, Fanny and Alexander is directed by Stefan Larsson and runs March 7-9 in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater as part of Nordic Cool 2013. Press opening night is March 7 at 7:30 p.m.The production is performed in Swedish with English supertitles.

Inspired by their holiday hit show 'A Charlie Brown Christmas: Unscripted,' ComedySportz-Houston is launching a new late-night Saturday series aimed at reinventing the classics with improv. The first show in this adults-only series, 'Star Wars: Unscripted,' will open on Saturday, April 6th, 2013 at 10:30pm.

The cast of Evil Dead: The Musical at V Theater is hosting viewing parties every Sunday night for AMC's The Walking Dead at Hi Scores Bar-Arcade, located at 65 S. Stephanie St in Henderson.
