Curtain Call Performing Arts will present Live with the Shawn Megofna Band, the second concert as part of CCPA's Unplugged Concert Series. The Shawn Megofna Band (TSMB) is composed of talented, fun, and energetic individuals from the Bay Area. TSMB fuses island, reggae, acoustic, and rock genres into one complete sound, and will perform covers and original works, while also raising funds for two deserving Bay Area organizations; San Leandro Relay For Life (2/22) and the Bay Area Fight Academy (2/23).

Digital Theatre today (12 February 2013) announces its next release - Tony and Olivier Award-winning actor Jonathan Pryce stars in Michael Attenborough's production of William Shakespeare's King Lear. The production, the second collaboration between Digital Theatre and the Almeida Theatre, was captured live in October 2012 during the play's sell-out run.

The Maverick Theater presents Peter Shaffer's Amadeus, winner of five Tony Awards - including Best Play - and eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture, for the 1984 film adaptation. Tarragon Theatre will present A Double Bill celebrating the work of acclaimed playwright-in-residence Hannah Moscovitch, with premieres of her plays Little One and Other People's Children. A co-production with Theatre Crisis and Theatre PANIK, A Hannah Moscovitch Double Bill opens February 20 and runs to March 24 (previewing from February 14) in Tarragon Theatre's Extra Space.

This April, Kane will take the Comix stage for the first time for four highly-anticipated shows beginning on Thursday, Apr. 11 at 8 p.m., with additional shows on Friday, Apr. 12 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Apr. 13 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. These shows are not for the faint of heart or easily offended, lines will be crossed and common decency will be left at the door. Fans will be welcomed to witness a "Nasty Show with Colin Kane" during his final uproarious performance.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins February 19 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis and plays a limited two week engagement through March 3. In St. Louis, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece at the Fox Theatre box office, at 531 N. Grand Blvd.

The acclaimed Los Angeles Philharmonic and its dynamic music director, Gustavo Dudamel, return to New York for the first time since 2010 for two concerts at Avery Fisher Hall, as part of Lincoln Center's Great Performers series, March 27 and 28, 2013. Maestro Dudamel and the Orchestra arrive at Lincoln Center with two adventurous programs of 20th and 21st century music which showcases the ensemble's place as one of the world's most forward-thinking orchestras, including the New York premiere of a co-commissioned work by the eminent American composer John Adams.

Triple platinum recording artist Aaron Carter will be performing his final week as Matt in The Fantasticks. His last performance will be on Sunday Feb. 17, 2013 at 7:30 PM. Carter is leaving the production to do a national tour.

The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council officially announced the creation of a partnership with Perseverance Theatre to work together towards the creation of a new theatre complex for Alaska's capital city.

The LA Turkish Film Festival has announced today their final slate of four feature films that will screen at their second annual festival at Hollywood's Egyptian Theater. The festival opens on Thursday, February 28th at 7:00pm with the screening of Yilmaz Erdogan's THE BUTTERFLY'S DREAM (Kelebegin Ruyasi), which is the tale of two poets who fall in love with the same woman. Starting the following evening, a new feature from Turkish filmmakers will screen nightly at the Egyptian, followed by a Q & A that will be moderated by industry professionals. The festival concludes on March 3rd.

Artistic Director Paul Robinson will direct Theatre503's first Second Look production, a revival of Simon Donald's Evening Standard Award-winning play The Life of Stuff. A perfectly preserved comic snapshot of Edinburgh's underworld, Simon Donald's play premiered at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh before transferring the Donmar Warehouse in 1993. The Life of Stuff will run at Theatre503, above the Latchmere Pub in Battersea between 10 April and 4 May.

Karen Kain, Artistic Director of The National Ballet of Canada, today announced the 2013/14 season. Featured next season are Innovation, a programme of three world premieres by three brilliant Canadian choreographers: Robert Binet, Jose Navas and James Kudelka, the Canadian premiere of Spectre de la Rose, re-imagined by Stuttgart Ballet's Choreographer in Residence Marco Goecke, and treasured classics Swan Lake and Onegin. The season begins with more touring as the company debuts in Saratoga Springs, New York.
