THE BOOK OF MORMON to Hold Denver Ticket LotteryAugust 7, 2012THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has announced a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which launches August 14 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver and plays a limited engagement through September 2. In Denver, the production will make 24 tickets available for all performances at $25 apiece.

Met Museum Presents Efterklang & the Wordless Music Orchestra, 9/22August 7, 2012Danish band Efterklang (translation: 'remembrance' and/or 'reverberation') plays the music from its new album Piramida (release date September 25). For this collaboration with the 16-member Wordless Music Orchestra and guest conductor Matthew Coorey, Efterklang has engaged composers Missy Mazzoli, Karsten Fundal, and Daníel Bjarnason to create arrangements of the music of Piramida for the ensemble with orchestra.
