While the kids are away on a camping trip with their Jr. Cherokee's Troop, a string of coincidences yields a spontaneous grown-up party. In the basement of a brand-new ranch house, exotic cocktails like 'Rapupu Sours' are sampled, games like 'Bee Pee Bo' are played and new friends like Jeep, the door-to-door photographer, are made. The Metropolitan Museum of Art announced today that the spring 2013 exhibition organized by The Costume Institute will be PUNK: Chaos to Couture. The exhibition, which will be on view from May 9 through August 11, 2013 (preceded on May 6 by The Costume Institute Benefit), will examine punk's impact from its birth in the 1970s through its continuing influence on high fashion today.

On Thursday, September 20, legendary Broadway director and 21-time Tony Award winner Harold Prince will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the the fourth-annual "Broadway Salutes," an industry-wide celebration to honor those who make Broadway great. NYC & Company, New York City's official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, New York Comedy Festival and Comedy Central today announced the second annual Comedy Week, November 5-11. On the heels of Election Night, Comedy Central's sketch-comedy duo, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, from the hit series Key & Peele will perform a free Comedy Week show as part of the weeklong celebration on Wednesday, November 7, at8 pm at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.
