HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER, a new Off-Broadway sketch comedy written and performed by Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle, is adding Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings to the playing schedule beginning October 3rd at Sofia's Downstairs Theater in the heart of Times Square.

The Alley Theatre's Alley Shows for Kids (ASK) touring show Seguin: Unsung Texas Hero is a high-paced and extremely informative 50-minute play about Juan Seguin, an authentic hero of the Texas Revolution. Seguin: Unsung Texas Hero will have a public performance at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012 on the Alley Theatre's Neuhaus Stage.

Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre opens the Company's remarkable 27th Season with a concert of stunning original ballets, by New England's celebrated dance-maker, Jose Mateo. Featuring a world premiere, Mysterious Arrangements (Oct 5-28) offers a sampling of Mateo's most dramatic and gripping works, at the glorious Sanctuary Theatre in Harvard Square, Cambridge. Mysterious Arrangements is the first of a four-concert repertory series at The Sanctuary Theatre during the 27th Season.

Tribeca Film has acquired U.S. rights to Bert Marcus Productions' How to Make Money Selling Drugs, which had its world premiere on Friday night at the Toronto International Film Festival. The provocative documentary offers an in-depth look at the high-stakes world of drug dealing and drug enforcement by blending authentic reportage with pop culture references. Directed by Matthew Cooke, the film reunites producers Bert Marcus of Bert Marcus Productions and Adrian Grenier (HBO's Entourage), the team that created the breakout hit Teenage Paparazzo.

Horse Trade Theater Group will present a one night only encore performance of Spookfish Theatre Company's Dream Up Festival hit, Pornography for the People, written by Ming Peiffer (Relax! Alice). The Tony nominated actor Craig Bierko (THE MUSIC MAN) has joined the cast of AdA (Author directing Author) -- an evening comprised of new one act plays by American playwright Neil LaBute and Italian playwright Marco Calvani, in which each playwright will direct the other's work -- to be presented by La MaMa at the Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St.) in Manhattan, with preview performances starting September 28 prior to an official press opening Sunday, September 30. Both plays are receiving their American premieres and will be performed on the same program at every performance of AdA.

The Kennedy Center presents the National Theatre of Great Britain and Bob Boyett production of War Horse from October 23 to November 11, 2012 in the Kennedy Center Opera House. Winner of five 2011 Tony Awards® including Best Play and based on the beloved novel by Michael Morpurgo and adapted by Nick Stafford, the tour of War Horse is directed by Bijan Sheibani based on the original Tony Award®-winning direction by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris, and presented in association with Handspring Puppet Company of South Africa.
