It was announced today that a new program at Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) has been established to improve the health and well-being of LGBT individuals.

The OBIE Award-winning National Asian American Theatre Company (NAATCO) -- now in its 23rd season of presenting classics and new works performed by Asian American actors -- will present August Strindberg's A DREAM PLAY in a new adaptation by Sung Rno and Andrew Pang, directed by Mr. Pang, with previews set to begin March 22 prior to an official opening night of March 27 at HERE, 145 Sixth Avenue (entrance on Dominick, 1 Block South of Spring). Playwright Tommy Smith returns to The Flea and once again brings you to the brink with the New York Premiere of WHITE HOT. In her directorial debut, the production will be helmed by Flea Resident Director Courtney Ulrich starring The Bats, the resident acting company at The Flea. Casting has been announced for the world-premiere of Kara Manning's play SLEEPING ROUGH, directed by Tony Award nominee Sam Buntrock and presented Off-Broadway at the Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street) by Page 73 Productions, currently celebrating its 15th season presenting works by up-and-coming playwrights in New York. The Hippodrome-Colony Historical Theatre Association ('Association') and Peoples Bank, National Association ('Peoples Bank') announced today it will rename the Colony Theatre the Peoples Bank Theatre in recognition of a generous $250,000 donation by the bank.

At 6:30am on Tuesday, March 5th, Sarasota Opera House will open as a "Donor Giving Station" to those wishing to give to the 2013 36 Hour Giving Challenge. Sarasota Opera will have three computer stations set up in the Opera House for those wanting to give during the Giving Challenge.
