Inspired by the most important scroll painting in Chinese art history - Along the River during the Qingming Festival, the Hong Kong Dance Company's (HKDC) epic dance spectacle QINGMING RIVERSIDE animates the masterpiece and brings to life a prosperous era of Chinese history. Painted between AD 1119 and 1125, Along the River during the Qingming Festival is a masterpiece by the imperial court painter Zhang Zeduan. The scroll painting reveals, in astounding detail, the busy and booming streets of the Northern Song Dynasty capital, Bianjing (now Kaifeng, Henan) and is currenlty in the collection of the Palace Museum, Beijing.

The new production of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA will now open on Broadway on Sunday, February 24, 2013, with previews set to begin January 24. Signature Theatre has announced a second one-week extension for GOLDEN CHILD by David Henry Hwang, directed by Leigh Silverman. The production will now play through Sunday, December 16. The production is currently in previews and opens on November 13 in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Multitalented entertainer and comedian, Jim Jefferies, has announced a new date for the highly-anticipated routine he will bring to Fox Theater, presented by Comix At Foxwoods.
