Atlanta Symphony's Talent Development Program To Host Annual Fall Musicale, 12/2November 7, 2012The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's Talent Development Program (TDP), which supports the musical development of talented young African-American and Latino students, will hold its annual Fall Musicale on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. The Musicale, held in support of the Azira G. Hill Scholarship Fund, will take place in Atlanta Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center. The performance is free and open to the public. Tickets are required, and are available at aso.org.

Rising Sun Performance Company Extends HOTEL SUITE Through 11/10November 7, 2012Rising Sun Performance Company (Akia, Founding Artistic Director) announced today that Hotel Suite, its three-week site specific group of plays set in a real Upper West Side hotel room, will extend performances of Fool for Love by Sam Shepard, and Room 128, a collection of short hotel-themed plays, through November 10th at Hostelling International (891 Amsterdam Avenue at 103rd Street). Originally scheduled to close November 3rd, Hotel Suite was dark for much of its original final week of performances due to Hurricane Sandy.

MoMA Kicks Off Meta-Monumental Garage Sale, 11/17November 7, 2012For her first solo exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art, multimedia performance artist Martha Rosler (American) will present her work Meta-Monumental Garage Sale, a large-scale version of the classic American garage sale, in the Museum's Donald B. and Catherine C. NJPAC Announces Hurricane Sandy Relief EffortsNovember 7, 2012John Schreiber, NJPAC's President and CEO, announced today that the Arts Center will be rolling out an ongoing relief effort for those affected by Hurricane Sandy, including designating 2,000 tickets for upcoming performances as relief fund tickets, where 100% of the ticket price will be donated to the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund. All relief fund tickets will be $25 and will be in locations throughout Prudential Hall and the Victoria Theater. The Center will also become a drop-off site for the ongoing collection of goods that will be donated to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
