After a sold out 5-week run in Brooklyn and an additional 2-week extension, Third Rail Projects will extend its acclaimed production of THEN SHE FELL through January 6. This immersive theater event is inspired by the life and writings of Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland). It is written, directed, designed and choreographed by Zach Morris with Tom Pearson and Jennine Willett and in collaboration with The Company.
Trinity Rep has announced the return of last winter's premiere event- Red White & Blues, a casual evening featuring food, wine, and dancing to the music of local band The Silks. Co-chaired by Gil MacLean and his wife Michelle Collie, sponsored by MacLean's store, Bottles Fine Wine, the benefit party will take place on Saturday January 12 from 7PM to midnight at the Pell Chafee Performance Center, 87 Empire St., Providence. Little Grey Cells in association with Mercury Theatre Colchester present Tu I Teraz (Here & Now). Tu I Teraz, written by Nicola Werenowska and directed by Sam Potter will run at the Hampstead Theatre Downstairs from 18 December to 19 January, with press night on 20 December. Tu I Teraz has set design by Kerry Bradley, lighting by Matt O'Leary and sound by Steve Mayo, and the cast is Ania Sowinski (Marysia), Anna Elijasz (Ana) and George Lasha (Janusz). The Stella Adler Studio of Acting's Harold Clurman Laboratory Theater Company is excited to announce the New York City premiere of Michael Milligan's Mercy Killers. Milligan's one-man play is inspired by horror stories of the uninsured, many of whom suffer financial tragedies on top of chronic illnesses.
Following his recent visit to Walt Disney Concert Hall with his Philharmonia Orchestra, LA Phil Conductor Laureate Esa-Pekka Salonen returns to lead the LA Phil in its celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of one of the 20th century's pre-eminent composers, Witold Lutos?awski. The Lutos?awski Centenary includes two orchestral concerts and one Green Umbrella event with the LA Phil New Music Group between November 30 and December 9. The celebration begins with performances Friday and Saturday, November 30 and December 1, at 8 pm, as well as Sunday, December 2, at 2 pm, featuring the composer's Symphony No. 1, which will be recorded live to complete a Salonen/LA Phil cycle of the composer's four symphonies to be released on Sony Classical in January 2013. Also to be recorded is Fanfare for Los Angeles Philharmonic, a short piece for brass and percussion, written by Lutos?awski in celebration of the LA Phil's 75th anniversary season. This quintessential Salonen program pairs Lutos?awski with Beethoven, as he had done for his Beethoven Unbound festival in the 2004/05 season - this time with King Stephen Overture and Symphony No. 2.
Fashion Designer, Niiamar Felder has been nominated for an Audelco Award for Best Costume Design for the Off-Broadway production of Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, by August Wilson. The 40th Annual Audelco Awards will be presented on Monday, November 19th at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre in New York City.
Lifeline Theatre Artistic Director Dorothy Milne announces the addition of the Chicago premiere of The Three Musketeers, an adaptation of the swashbuckling classic by Alexandre Dumas, to close out the company's 2012-13 season. The Three Musketeers replaces the previously announced Bridge of Birds and runs May 31-July 21, 2013.
Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and Suffolk University will present Robert Brustein's final installment of the trilogy about the life of William Shakespeare, The Last Will at the Modern Theatre at Suffolk University from February 13 to 24, 2013.
The Shakespeare Theatre Company, recipient of the 2012 Regional Theatre Tony Award®, will hold a symposium on site-specific and immersive theatre in conjunction with the National Theatre of Scotland's The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart, STC's first site-specific work. The symposium, part of STC's AsidesLIVE programming series, will take place Tuesday, December 4, from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. in The Forum in Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW). A solo performance that combines standup comedy with storytelling, rabble rousing and down-home preaching, Brian Dykstra Selling Out runs November 28th to December 16th at the Kitchen Theatre in downtown Ithaca. Previews are November 28, 29, and 30, Opening Night is December 1st, and performances continue through December 16, 2012.

The Den Theatre will present a remount of TurnAround Theatre's original hit production of Brian Friel's FAITH HEALER, 17 years after the critically acclaimed show played to sold-out houses at TurnAround and Steppenwolf Theatres. Original cast members Brad Armacost, Lia D. Mortensen and Si Osborne return for the remount, which features the original direction by J.R. Sullivan. Seattle-based songwriter, producer, musician, and composer Jherek Bischoff will headline Seattle's Moore Theatre on December 1st, performing songs from his critically acclaimed album Composed with help from a full orchestra and a slew of just-announced special guest singers: Zola Jesus, Mirah, Zac Pennington (Parenthetical Girls), Soko, Jason Webley and Tomo Nakayama. This is his first Seattle-area headlining show since the release of the album in June.
The Theater for the New City with the support of Spain Culture New York-Consulate General of Spain presents The New Stage Theatre Company's Garden of Delights, written by Fernando Arrabal and directed by Ildiko Nemeth (NY Innovative Theatre Award nominee), with original music by Jon Gilbert Leavitt (Outmusic Award winner). Garden of Delights runs from November 15 to December 2, 2012 in a limited engagement at Theater for the New City's Johnson Theater, located at 155 First Avenue between 9th and 10th Streets in New York City.
