The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts and The Irish Tenors are teaming up to help raise money for the Hunger Task Force during THE IRISH TENORS-THE PREMIERE IRISH HOLIDAY CELEBRATION TOUR that takes place this Sunday, November 25 at 6:00 p.m. in Uihlein Hall. $10.00 from each ticket sold using the code HUNGER will be donated to the organization. On November 26th at 9:30pm, BroadwayUnderstudies.com has once again invited some of Broadway's most talented understudies to the stage of the Laurie Beechman Theatre to share their rare talent-the ability to perform at a second's notice. They'll be thrown into the fire in 'Half Hour 2: A Last Minute Concert,' a show where even they don't know what they'll be singing before they step up to the microphone. The audience will get to vote on what song each performer will sing.

Grace United Methodist Church presents pianist David Buddin (voted best New York composer 2012 by the Village Voice) performing the New York premier of Karlheinz Stockhausen's Natural Durations 1-12. The concert will be held on Sunday, December 2 at 4pm, free admission. This is the first half of Karlheinz Stockhausen's vast meditation on piano sonority. One of Stockhausen's last pieces, it is the third 'hour' of his 'Klang' cycle, derived from a single twenty-four-note set ran through a myriad of permutations and transformations.

ITHT is has announced the triumphant return of the incredibly gifted actress and singer, Carole Demas in a concert created to benefit Irvington Town Hall Theater. Star of Broadway, television, cabaret, concerts and more, Ms. Demas, best known as the originator of 'Sandy' in Broadway's Grease, was Luisa in NYC's The Fantasticks, introduced the title role in Stephen Schwartz's The Baker's Wife and starred in TV's iconic Magic Garden, PBS's Great Performances and other shows.

After many years of live performance in both the San Francisco Bay Area and in New York, Aria Knight brings her new songs to a live audience for the first time in San Francisco for two shows in early December. The shows include a performance at Karneycopia, a weekly Singer/Songwriter event in the SOMA district at Brainwash Cafe, and a set at Independent Distribution Collective's Holiday Party at the Union Room in the Union Square neighborhood. UnsungMusicalsCo. (UMC) will present a developmental reading of Sounds Like Love, a new comedy by Arnold B. Horwitt (Make Mine Manhattan, Plain and Fancy) featuring three original songs by Horwitt, Tony Award winner Albert Hague (Plain and Fancy, The Fig Leaves Are Falling) and Grammy Award winner Allan Sherman (The Fig Leaves Are Falling). Originally written circa 1955, the previously unproduced play is adapted and directed by Ben West (At Home Abroad, Make Mine Manhattan, Gatsby).

MTV today announced that the network will air "I'm Positive," a 60-minute special produced by DrDrew Productions and Octagon Entertainment on World AIDS Day, December 1, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT, with a simulcast on MTV Tr3s. "I'm Positive" goes inside the lives of three young people from around the country who are HIV positive. Although each faces struggles that are part of living with this virus, they all work to maintain a positive outlook on life, while taking steps to remain healthy and to stop the spread of HIV.

Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) will continue its OSL@DMC series of free events at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music with a holiday-themed Community Sing on Thursday, December 13, 2012. All are welcome to join in songs and carols accompanied by the musicians of OSL.
