New Jersey Symphony Sets Winter Festival for January 4–6 & 25–27November 21, 2012This January, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) presents its 2013 Winter Festival: Air and the Atmosphere-the third season of a multi-year odyssey spotlighting the symbolic power of natural elements that have inspired composers for centuries. The festival, which runs January 4-6 and 25-27, encompasses two concert programs celebrating air and the atmosphere-from the most intimate to the most infinite-in music. Final Cast Announced for THE CHRISTMAS ROSE at Carnegie HallNovember 21, 2012The new family musical special, The Christmas Rose, features a cast of over 400 and stars the multiple Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning actress Jane Seymour and legendary Broadway actor and Tony nominee Lee Roy Reams. The Christmas Rose, with music and story by PBS composer Tim Janis, follows a young orphan named Annabelle, played by thirteen year old Bailey Grey, into the desert where she crosses paths with everyone from the three wise men and singing angels to Mary and Joseph, while being pursued by a team of desert bandits.
