The Pittsburgh International Children's Theater, a division of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, presents the Pittsburgh International Children's Festival, Wednesday, May 15, through Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the University of Pittsburgh theaters and Schenley Plaza. Programming will showcase international and local theater premieres, including a brand new interactive luminarium installation from Architects of Air (UK). Giant Eagle is the lead sponsor of the 2013 Pittsburgh International Children's Festival. Additional partners include Citiparks, University of Pittsburgh School of Arts & Sciences, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, and Pittsburgh Parks Conservatory.

The ReGroup Theatre Company is now presenting two powerful plays Off-Broadway by playwright John Howard Lawson, Success Story and Loud Speaker, as part of their "Reclaiming Names: The John Howard Lawson Revival" series. Both shows are at the Robert Moss Theater at 440 Lafayette Street in Manhattan and are running from March 5th through March 24th. Neither of these plays has been produced in New York City in decades.

York Theatre Company and its Developmental Reading Series presents the reading of the new musical, Howling Hilda, with book and lyrics by Anne Berlin, and music by Andrew Bleckner will be directed by Valentina Fratti, with music direction by Timothy Splain, and featuring Mary Testa. The reading, free and open to the public with a reservation, is set for one-performance only on Tuesday, March 12th at 7:30 p.m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

The Shakespeare Theatre Company, recipient of the 2012 Regional Theatre Tony Award, is pleased to exhibit a selection of images taken by award-winning photographer Nina Dunn. The exhibition brings together 24 key photographs from the artist's Europe series. Dunn's photos will be displayed and offered for sale throughout Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) during the run of the Company's Hero/Traitor Repertory (March 28 - June 2, 2012), featuring the productions Coriolanus and Wallenstein.

Cleveland Play House will produce the hit Broadway comedy Good People, written by one of the most important new American playwrights. Nominated for a 2011 Tony Award for Best Play, Pulitzer Prize-winner David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People takes an affectionate look at the 'haves' and 'have-nots' through the eyes of characters who won't be ignored. Actress Kate Hodge returns to the CPH stage (Dinner with Friends, Bright Ideas) to play the tough-talking, blue-collar Margie Walsh, a role that won Frances McDormand a 2011 Tony Award for Best Actress. Also returning to the CPH stage to play Dottie, Margie's landlord, is actress Denny Dillon (Well), a Cleveland native and former CPH Curtain Puller. Directed by Laura Kepley, CPH Associate Artistic Director,Good People will run in the Allen Theatre at PlayhouseSquare starting Friday, March 22 through Sunday, April 14, 2013. Everyman Theatre has announced that renowned actor Tim Getman will be stepping into the role of Alan Raleigh in the upcoming production of God of Carnage. Resident Company Member Bruce Randolph Nelson was originally announced in the role but recently suffered an injury to his left shoulder. While he is expected to fully recover, his injury does not allow him to perform such a physical role. Mr. Nelson is expected to return to the Everyman stage for the final production of the 2012/13 season, The Beaux' Stratagem.
