Check out a brand-new trailer for “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” introducing new characters, including the fierce and fun crew of racers from online racing game Slaughter Race. Ali Wong lends her voice to Felony, Timothy Simons voices Butcher Boy, Glozell Green brings Little Debbie to life and Hamish Blake provides the voice of Pyro. Also new to the roster of characters is Double Dan, the proprietor of the dark web's apothecary. Voiced by Alfred Molina, Double Dan is massive, slimy and decidedly creepy with a second head called Little Dan tucked into his neck folds. “Ralph Breaks the Internet” opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 21, 2018.

The Doctor is landing soon! BBC AMERICA has revealed the official trailer for the upcoming season of Doctor Who, starring Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor. Alongside her team of friends – Ryan (Tosin Cole), Yasmin (Mandip Gill) and Graham (Bradley Walsh) – this new era is packed full of action, humor, emotion, and adventures through space and time, starting with the first episode, titled “The Woman Who Fell to Earth.”

Brooklyn Music School (BMS) faculty member and pianist Tatiana Viscun will receive a Civic Award from City Council Member Laurie Cumbo on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 5:30pm. The program begins at 5:30pm at the free 'Brass, Pipe Organ and the Piano' concert on October 6, 2018 at the Hanson Place Church of SDA. Milton O.C. Haynes, M.D will also receive a Civic Award.

MARY POPPINS RETURNS is a sequel to the classic 1964 film, MARY POPPINS, starring Emily Blunt as Mary Poppins, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer and Julie Walters with Colin Firth and Meryl Streep. This highly-anticipated sequel will be the hit of the Christmas box-office, but until then, we thought it would be fun to go back in time to 1964 to see what life was like and what was popular when the original film was released 54 years ago!

Jemele Hill will narrate LeBron James' basketball documentary Shut Up and Dribble, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The documentary airs  in November on Showtime. The three-part series is directed by Gotham Chopra.

The Downton Abbey film will be released by Focus Features on Sept. 20, 2019, in North America, according to Variety. Universal Pictures International will debut it overseas on Sept. 13, 2019.

For the week ending Sept. 14, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT beat its nearest competition in viewers (3.83m vs. 2.33m, +64%) according to Nielsen live plus 3-day ratings. THE LATE SHOW delivered its largest live plus 3-day weekly audience and its first live plus 3-day win against a first-run week of “The Tonight Show” in adults 18-49 since the week ending April 20.

FX has ordered a third season of Snowfall, the drama series created by John Singleton, Eric Amadio and Dave Andron, it was announced today by Eric Schrier and Nick Grad, Presidents of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions. The third season will premiere on FX in 2019.

North Carolina's acclaimed indie-Americana darlings Mipso head back on the road this fall, hitting select markets in the Rocky Mountains and northeast for the first time since the April release of their new album, Edges Run. The tour kicked off last week in Nashville with an official showcase at the 19th annual AMERICANAFEST - which NPR Music highlighted as a “Best of AMERICANAFEST” - and stops in 20 cities over the next two months. The season culminates in early November with a short run of shows in the band's home region to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the band's 2013 debut release, Dark Holler Pop.  Mipso & Friends: Dark Holler Pop Revisited hosts five shows in North Carolina and Virginia and features very special guests during the run including 10 String Symphony, Chandler Holt (Chatham County Line), Lula Wiles, and Kate Rhudy. Afterlife have announced their debut album Breaking Point will be released January 11th, 2019 via Hopeless Records. This will be the band's first release on Hopeless. In addition to the announce, the band dropped the first single from the upcoming album, 'Throat.' The song is very personal, diving into vocalist Tyler Levenson's journey with mental health. 'I felt at times that I was controlled by the anxiety, that it was dictating everything I did,' he reflects. 'Everything I did, I had some type of doubt in my mind because of it.'
