Reservoir announces the signing of rapper and songwriter Destin Route, p/k/a J.I.D to a worldwide publishing deal. The deal includes global rights to J.I.D's entire catalog, including his J. Cole-executive-produced debut studio album, The Never Story, and his forthcoming LP, DiCaprio 2, led by single “151 Rum,” released last week.

The Bushwick Film Festival (BFF) has announced details for their official 2018 Opening Night, sponsored by Spectrum. The festivities will kick off on Wednesday, October 10th at House of Yes in Brooklyn with a Red Carpet Reception and screening of 'Bushwick Beats'-a film created by six diverse directors each exploring the theme of unconditional love through varying storylines set under the evolving urban landscape of Bushwick. In response to tickets completely selling out before she had begun her run, Lou Sanders adds multiple extra shows at Soho Theatre with her best and most confessional solo hour yet, Shame Pig. The 32nd edition of AFI FEST presented by Audi will open with the World Premiere of Participant Media's ON THE BASIS OF SEX, in association with Alibaba Pictures and distributed by Focus Features. Directed by AFI Conservatory alumna Mimi Leder (AFI Class of 1973), the inspiring drama tells the story of young lawyer Ruth Bader Ginsburg before she became a U.S. Supreme Court Justice.
