Acclaimed British director Ben Wheatley (Kill List, High Rise) has signed on to direct a new adaptation of Daphne du Maurier's classic, romantic, gothic thriller penned by screenwriter Jane Goldman (Kingsman series, X-Men: First Class). It tells the story of a newly-married young woman who, on arriving at her husband's imposing family estate on a bleak English coast, finds herself battling the shadow of his dead first wife, the mysterious Rebecca, whose legacy continues to haunt the house.

Kick off 2019 in spectacular style with a New Year's Day special episode of Doctor Who on Tuesday, January 1st, moving from its traditional Christmas Day timeslot.  Leading up to the first-ever “Who Year's Day,” BBC AMERICA will present a Doctor Who marathon, starting with all the Christmas specials at 12pm ET/PT on Monday, December 24th, going into the big day itself, Tuesday, December 25th. Red Bull Music Presents' inaugural New York show will celebrate the release of Makaya McCraven's much-anticipated 2018 album, Universal Beings. This January, Oxygen Media, the destination for high-quality crime programming, will premiere a two-hour documentary, “Dirty John, The Dirty Truth.” A companion to Bravo's scripted anthology, the special goes beyond the articles and podcasts made famous by Los Angeles Times reporter Christopher Goffard, and traces con-man John Meehan's trail of manipulation that started long before he met Debra Newell. Through the eyes of the real people he deceived, the documentary takes a deep dive into his troubled past, his altercations with law enforcement, and features exclusive interviews with former girlfriends who speak out for the very first time.
