 Kumail Nanjiani has just crossed over into THE TWILIGHT ZONE. The actor will star in an episode of the new CBS All Access original series. The episode is written by Alex Rubens (“The Last OG,” “Key and Peele”). Nanjiani joins previously announced host and narrator Jordan Peele and other cast members Sanaa Lathan and Adam Scott.

Known for his multifaceted musical personality, composer/musician Wayne Horvitz displays his remarkably singular and distinguishable sound in two new recordings: his debut pianos/keys-bass-drums trio album The Snowghost Sessions (Songlines, 10.05.18) and his debut orchestral CD Those Who Remain (National Sawdust Tracks, 10.12.18). CBS All Access announced today that season two of its first original comedy series, NO ACTIVITY, will launch on its service in Canada on Thursday, Nov. 22. All episodes of the series' second season will be available to stream on this date, mirroring the roll-out in the U.S.

Yesterday, one of the world's biggest bands, Coldplay were given the big screen treatment with A Head Full of Dreams from director, Mat Whitecross (Supersonic). Trafalgar Releasing distributed the film in over 70 countries worldwide and across 2,650 movie theaters on November 14. The one night only engagement attracted more than 300,000 attendees with a global box office of over $3.5million.

Common Sense, the nation's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids thrive in a world of media and technology, today announced the honorees for the 2018 Common Sense Awards, an annual celebration that recognizes and celebrates the best in entertainment, education, and advocacy. This year, Marvel Studios' Black Panther will win the Great Family Media award; Khan Academy founder Sal Khan will win the Educator of the Year award; and the March for Our Lives movement will be recognized with the Advocacy award. Black Panther writer and director Ryan Coogler, Sal Khan, and activist Cameron Kasky will receive the awards at San Francisco's City Hall.

Paperclip Ltd, the production company co-founded by Yeardley Smith and Ben Cornwell, announces today that principal photography has begun on “Gossamer Folds,” a feature-length drama co-produced by Paperclip Ltd and Mill House Motion Pictures. The film tells the story of Gossamer, a transgender woman, who befriends her new neighbor, Tate. The friendship changes his life and the lives of their families, forever. The project will be directed by award-winning filmmaker and queer advocate Lisa Donato (Signature Move, There You Are, The Great Now What).

Today, SYFY announced its first original late night animated series, ALIEN NEWS DESK. Set to debut early 2019, ALIEN NEWS DESK is a weekly, half-hour topical animated series set in an extraterrestrial newsroom. Voiced by Emmy(R) nominated comedian Will Forte (alien news anchor 'Drexx Drudlarr') and 'Saturday Night Live's' Heidi Gardner (alien co-anchor 'Tuva Van Void'), the 12-episode series will cover up-to-the-minute news and commentary about the universe's most baffling species - the inscrutable Humans of Planet Earth.

The wildly successful sitcom 'BUNK'D' has been ordered for a fourth season by Disney Channel. Production will begin in March 2019 on the series starring fan-favorite Miranda May as Lou Hockhauser, the cheerful Woodchuck counselor turned owner of Maine's rustic Camp Kikiwaka summer camp. The series also stars Mallory James Mahoney (Disney Channel's 'Adventures in Babysitting'), Raphael Alejandro (ABC's 'Once Upon a Time') and Will Buie Jr. ('Gifted) as the campers who return with Lou to create a summer of fun and friendship for a new group of young campers. Additional casting is to be announced.
