 ELEVEN Arts and Fathom Events are proud to announce the return of director Naoko Yamada's stunningly animated coming-of-age drama “A Silent Voice.” The hit Japanese film is a moving depiction of the struggles of adolescence told through its memorable characters and beautiful animation. In addition to the full feature, attendees will view a short feature and interview with the dub voice of Shoko Nishimiya, Lexi Cowden, from a deaf community group, where she talks about her experience and how it relates to the film.

Dani Bell and the Tarantist is an American rock band based in San Diego, California, led by singer-songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Dani Bell. Inspired by the early days of Motown, Dani Bell and the Tarantist creates a modern style of dreamy psychedelic pop. The band records and tours as part of the Redwoods Music record label and musicians collective, which adapts Bell's bedroom compositions into intimate songs with expansive arrangements.

Russian-American violinist Yevgeny Kutik, known for his “dark-hued tone and razor-sharp technique” (The New York Times), launches a new commissioning and recording project titled Meditations on Family today with the release of Christopher Cerrone's Flight to Limbo, available via Marquis Classics from all major streaming services. Kutik has commissioned eight composers to translate a personal family photo into a short musical miniature for violin and various ensemble. He envisions the project as a living archive of new works inspired by memories and tradition. One new piece will come out each Friday, and the full EP will be released on March 8, 2019. The recordings were produced by four-time Grammy winner Jesse Lewis.

Fresh off a massive sold-out show in Montreal at New City Gas on New Year's eve, Dutch production duo Vicetone - aka Ruben den Boer and Victor Pool - have unveiled their slick new anthem, 'Fences'. The single is a powerful production led by the vocal talents of Matt Wertz, an acclaimed singer/songwriter who has previously toured with Jason Mraz. 'Fences' is set for release on January 18th, the track precedes the drop of the duo's forthcoming 'Elements' EP, which is set for release on February 22nd. 

Acclaimed Nashville singer/songwriter and 'Americana Queen' (Noisey) Mary Bragg will release her new album Violets as Camouflage on March 1st via Tone Tree Music. Self-produced and self-engineered at her home studio, the fourteen-song collection was recently hailed by Billboard as 'the most intensely personal Bragg has ever written.' Both beautiful and blunt, it's the work of an artist only just beginning to embrace the full range of her talents. Today Bragg released her optimistic new song 'The Right Track,' which promises that hard work will be rewarded in the long run while encouraging patience when faced with self-doubt.

The multiplatform coverage of BIG BROTHER: CELEBRITY EDITION that fans came to love last year – including the BIG BROTHER live feeds – will return for the second season following BIG BROTHER: CELEBRITY EDITION's two-night premiere event, Monday, Jan. 21 and Tuesday, Jan. 22 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). The live feeds will begin following the west coast broadcast on Tuesday, Jan. 22. CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER AFTER DARK premieres on Pop on Tuesday, Jan. 22 (12:00-3:00 AM, ET/PT) with continuous live, late night coverage seven nights a week leading into the finale.

This February, for Black History Month, American Masters profiles two iconic performers who broke new ground in entertainment as the Civil Rights movement gathered momentum in America: Sammy Davis, Jr., and Charley Pride. American Masters – Sammy Davis, Jr.: I've Gotta Be Me, the first major film documentary to examine the performer's vast career and journey for identity through the shifting tides of civil rights and racial progress during 20th-century America, premieres nationwide Tuesday, February 19 at 9:00 p.m. ET on PBS (check local listings) and is available on DVD the same day through PBS Distribution. The PBS broadcast also features 20 minutes of exclusive bonus performance footage spanning Davis' 50-year career after the documentary. American Masters – Charley Pride: I'm Just Me premieres nationwide Friday, February 22 at 9:00 p.m. ET on PBS (check local listings). Both films will be available to stream the day after their respective broadcast premieres viapbs.org/americanmasters and PBS apps.

School is almost in session and Hulu has shared the official trailer for the hilarious new original comedy series PEN15. All 10 episodes will premiere Friday, February 8, only on Hulu.

SHOWTIME debuted the official poster for DESUS & MERO, the weekly half-hour late-night series starring Desus Nice and The Kid Mero. The network's first ever weekly late-night talk show will premiere on Thursday, February 21 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT and air on Thursday nights from New York City. SHOWTIME will feature popular TV and podcast personalities Desus and Mero speaking off the cuff and chatting with guests at the intersection of pop culture, sports, music, politics and more. Showtime Documentary Films dives deeper into the music documentary space with the acquisition of North American rights to WU-TANG CLAN: OF MICS AND MEN, a four-part limited docuseries from filmmaker Sacha Jenkins (BURN MOTHERF*CKER, BURN!) that transcends the music documentary genre by creating a new lane that merges music, socio-cultural commentary and intimate family portrait. The first two episodes of the series will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on Monday, January 28, and the full series will air on SHOWTIME later this spring. WU-TANG CLAN: OF MICS AND MEN is a Mass Appeal production in association with Endeavor Content. Peter J.
