Golden Globe-winner Colin Farrell has boarded the BBC Two four-part thriller The North Water, being adapted and directed by multi award-winning Andrew Haigh (Lean On Pete, Looking, Weekend).

Alabama-based husband-and-wife folk/rock duo Martha's Trouble (aka Rob and Jen Slocumb) will be setting sail October 6 through October 13, 2019 on their first-ever concert cruise.  Fans of the pair's music are encouraged to purchase a cabin and join them for a very special, exclusive music experience on the high seas on board the Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas. Sad Planets will release their debut album Akron, Ohio on April 19th via Tee Pee Records. The band features John Petkovic (Cobra Verde, Sweet Apple, Guided by Voices, Death of Samantha) and Patrick Carney (The Black Keys), and the album features a guest appearance by J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr.; also plays with Petkovic in Sweet Apple). 

Atlantic Records announced today that the company has partnered with West Coast powerhouse creative agency, R Baron Group, to launch a new label, The Machine Works. The first acts signed to the new deal are Los Angeles-based emcees AzChike and 1TakeJay. Atlantic Records will work in tandem with Warner Music Group subsidiary Asylum Records on marketing, distribution, and promotional efforts for The Machine Works and its roster.
