Grunge pop trio Slow Caves have announced their debut album, Falling, out March 22nd via Old Flame Records. Falling was recorded at The Bubble in Austin, TX with legendary producer Chris 'Frenchie' Smith, who has worked with artists such as Jet, Built to Spill, The Meat Puppets, and The Darkness. The band will kick off their North American headlining tour on February 21st, including stops at SXSW and Treefort Music Fest. iHeartMedia announced today the return of the annual star-studded iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 20 and 21 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and its Daytime Stage, which will take place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds Saturday, Sept. 21. The Daytime Stage will feature live performances by both popular and emerging artists including first-revealed performers Juice WRLD, Maren Morris, Billie Eilish, Old Dominion, Zara Larsson, CNCO, Brett Young, FLETCHER and Monsta X, with more to be announced. The evening performance lineup for the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Festival will be announced at a later date.

 In an effort to increase the number of work-ready residents in the state, CMT has joined forces with TBR - The College System of Tennessee, for a free multi-city concert tour targeting rural areas of the state this spring to encourage Tennesseans to pursue higher education.  The tour will begin on April 3 and travel to four Community Colleges across the state.  

ABC is rolling out the red carpet, showcasing a 30-minute promotional special “American Idol: A New Journey Begins” on Oscar Sunday, FEB. 24, ahead of the highly anticipated award show. In the special, host Ryan Seacrest sits down with judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie to discuss the return of the iconic series and share a preview of this year's crop of new talent. Additionally, the panel will answer fan questions and share behind-the-scenes secrets. The special will join the previously announced “Whiskey Cavalier” sneak preview in rounding out a star-studded Oscar Sunday.

“He would have wanted the show to go on,” Band of Friends bassist Gerry McAvoy laments about the passing of his lifelong friend and drummer, Ted McKenna. The two men had crisscrossed the globe together for decades playing high octane blues-rock at clubs, theaters, and festivals before McKenna passed away due to complications from a routine surgery he elected to undergo on his down time between tours.

Subsequent new episodes will be released bi-weekly on Tuesdays beginning March 26 with an episode on Snoop Dogg. A component of Triple Canopy's current issue—which asks pressing questions about the role resentment plays in society and art, and who is afforded the right to resentment—the film series highlights the specific potency of cinema as a vehicle for oppressed voices to air grievances, bring attention to injustice, and effect change.
