Following the release of his sixth studio album Flamagra, Flying Lotus is gearing up to embark on his immersive 3D North American tour. Kicking off in Portland, OR, the tour will span across 34 dates in cities such as NYC, LA, Seattle, Chicago, and more.

Initial honorees for the 6th Annual Location Managers Guild International Awards (LMGI) were announced today by LMGI President Mike Fantasia.  Acclaimed Oscar®-nominated director Peter Weir (Witness, Dead Poets Society, The Truman Show, Master and Commander) will receive the Eva Monley Award, which recognizes and honors industry members who support the work of location professionals. Location Manager Michael J. Meehan (Dead Poets Society, The Perfect Storm, Pirates of the Caribbean, Master and Commander) will receive the 2019 LMGI Lifetime Achievement Award. The LMGI Awards spotlight international features, television and commercials in which the creative use of filming locations set the tone, enrich the character and enhance the narrative. Winners of additional awards will be revealed during the formal ceremony on Saturday evening, September 21, 2019 at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica.  *Nominations will be announced on July 18, 2019 (Please note date change).

On Wednesday evening, the biggest names in sports and entertainment descended on the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to celebrate the year's best moments in sports at The 2019 ESPYS Presented by Capital One. The show was hosted by comedian Tracy Morgan and aired live on ABC.  Morgan's opening monologue kicked off the night on a high note – the diehard sports fan brought the laughs while discussing his recent sports car dust up and ribbed former New York Giant Odell Beckham Jr. on his departure for the Cleveland Browns.

The Board of Outfest-the Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization promoting equality by creating, sharing, and protecting LGBTQ stories on the screen--is excited to announce that Damien S. Navarro is joining the organization as its new Executive Director.  Navarro was selected from a large and diverse group of candidates following an intensive search. As Outfest's next Executive Director, he will oversee its programs, staff, fundraising efforts, fiscal management and other day-to-day operations.

ASA Entertainment announced today that the Nissan Concert Series will expand to 21 free concerts during the Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro at the Oceanside Pier, in Oceanside, Calif., from July 26-28, 2019. The free, family-friendly event includes the largest female surf competition in the world and an empowerment festival centered around providing opportunities for women in areas of sports, entertainment, education, business and popular culture where they are traditionally underrepresented.

Today Hippo Campus share Demos II, a collection of new songs written and recorded over the summer of 2017 and the winter of 2018. The new material came to life during the sessions around the band's most recent album Bambi, and includes such fan favorites and live staples as 'No Poms,' 'Chapstick,' and 'Joy.' The release follows that of Demos I -- eight early versions of Bambi songs -- which took fans into the world of Hippo Campus' creative process and demonstrated how the band crafted their latest album, a release which has already amassed almost 50 millions streams.

Donald Glover was a guest on Tuesday night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Glover appears on the show the same night that his film, The Lion King, is holding his red carpet premiere in Los Angeles. NBC has finished #1 for the primetime ratings week of July 1-7 in adults 18-49 and total viewers and is #1 or tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks in most other key measure, according to “live plus same day” viewership figures from Nielsen Media Research.

Hallmark Channel announces Danica McKellar is set as the lead of the World Premiere Original Movie, 'Christmas At Dollywood,' premiering in December as part of the network's 10th Anniversary salute to its #1-rated COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS program event. Making a special appearance in the film is Dollywood's beloved namesake, country music legend and American treasure, Dolly Parton. The film commences principal photography in August.

Three weeks before its series finale, Disney Channel's 'Andi Mack' grew for the 2nd straight week to its best telecast of the summer among Kids 6-11 (+13%—275,0001.15 rating vs. 243,0001.01 rating). In addition, 'Andi Mack' soared by 26% over the previous week to a new summer high in Tweens 9-14 (282,0001.16 rating vs. 223,0000.92 rating).

Encore telecasts of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” have dominated the holiday ratings week of July 1-5, winning in adults 18-49 and most other key demographics over “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research.

NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt is the #1 most-watched newscast again for the week of July 1, topping ABC and CBS in both A25-54 and A18-49 demos, and also continues its season-to-date ratings win streak, according to Nielsen Media Research.

TODAY was the number-one morning show outright last week topping “Good Morning America” in total viewers, A25-54 and A18-49 for the twelfth time this season. TODAY also won the key demo A25-54 for the week marking 184 straight weeks in the top spot, its best streak in nearly seven years. No other morning news show has been number one in the demo for as long a streak. Additionally, TODAY grew its demo lead versus GMA week over week and versus last year. Season to date, TODAY has closed the total viewer margin with GMA by 7% versus the same time last year.

Pop TV, now fully owned by CBS Corporation, announced today that it has ordered the new comedy series BEST INTENTIONS, from A+E Studios, Propagate Content and Adam Herz (“American Pie”). Eight episodes have been ordered and will go into production in fall 2019.

Tracking the largest field of presidential candidates in U.S. history, THE CIRCUS returns to SHOWTIME with eight new episodes this fall. Starting on Sunday, September 22 at 8 p.m. ETPT, the network's most-watched docuseries will continue its fourth season, which averaged more than one million weekly viewers earlier this year. Co-hosts John Heilemann, Alex Wagner, and Mark McKinnon will crisscross the country as an unprecedented cast of Democratic candidates barnstorm key states in their quests to face off against Donald Trump in 2020. Meanwhile, the president is pursuing re-election amid a growing threat of impeachment and looming international crises.

Bruce Springsteen announced that a performance documentary film has been made of him playing his new Western Stars  during a 10-minute phone-in call to SiriusXM's E Street Radio program this morning.

Disney Television Studios today announced the restructuring of its leadership team. At ABC Studios, Jonnie Davis has been named president. At 20th Century Fox Television, Carolyn Cassidy has been promoted to president, Creative Affairs, to run that studio alongside Howard Kurtzman, who continues as president of Business Operations. Josh Sussman will be promoted to executive vice president, Business Affairs, ABC Studios, where he will work for Davis. The new appointments were announced today by Craig Hunegs, president of Disney Television Studios, to whom Davis, Cassidy and Kurtzman will report. Bert Salke continues as president, Fox 21 Television Studios, also reporting to Hunegs.
