Austin-based rock trio Tommy Rebel and the Righteous announce the upcoming release of their debut album, “Renaissance Dude,” on Friday, Nov. 1. There will be an official album release show on Saturday, Nov. 2 at The Austin Beer Garden Brewing Co., (located at 1305 W.  General-entertainment network INSP has greenlit a 7th season of its award winning hit series, The Cowboy Way.  The announcement was made by Doug Butts, INSP's SVP of Programming, and comes before even the premiere of Season 6.

Songhoy Blues today announce their latest EP, Meet Me in the City (October 18 on Yellow Vinyl)—their first new music since the critically acclaimed album Résistance, which Rolling Stone called one of the best albums of 2017. They also share two versions of the EP's track “Time to Go Home,” one mixed by Blake Mills (Grammy-nominated producer of Alabama Shakes' Sound & Color, John Legend's Darkness and Light, and Perfume Genius' No Shape) and the other by David Ferguson (known for his sound engineering work with 'Cowboy' Jack Clement and on Johnny Cash's American Recordings).  The track, with lyrics written by Will Oldham (the music is by Songhoy Blues andMatt Sweeney and produced by Sweeney), appears on the EP alongside the title track written by Junior Kimbrough (with additional lyrics by Songhoy Blues and produced by Matt Sweeney), and a cover of Fela Kuti's “Shakara,” featuring Femi Kuti. Songhoy Blues will embark on a North American tour beginning in September and extending through the fall.

The KVB have announced a fall North American tour. The newly announced dates will be the band's debut North American tour and are rescheduled from this spring's shows which were cancelled due to reasons beyond the band's control. All tickets purchased will be transferred to the new dates and any ticket refunds will be available from the point of purchase. The KVB will be touring in support of their new Submersion EP, which will be released digitally on October 4 and available as a limited edition tour exclusive vinyl. The EP is comprised of two unreleased tracks from the Only Now Forever recording sessions, along with three remixes/alternate versions of tracks from the album. The upcoming tour will kick off in San Diego and includes shows in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Philadelphia and includes festival performances at Desert Daze and Levitation. Previously, only the first two episodes of season 1 and the first episode of season 2 were available to sample in front of the paywall. Beginning today, fans without a YouTube Premium subscription can binge watch the entire first season of “Cobra Kai.” On Wednesday, September 11, season 2 will premiere in front of the paywall for a limited time with one episode dropping each week. “Cobra Kai” is an international smash with the first episode of season 1 boasting nearly 55 million views and the first episode of season 2 besting the season 1 premiere by 136%, making it the fastest YouTube Original to hit 20 million views in just 6 days.
