South Korean boy band and K-Pop stars SEVENTEEN announce their return to North America for their Ode To You World Tour.  Produced by Live Nation, the exclusive 8-city North American run will kick off January 10th, 2020 in New Jersey with stops in Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Mexico City, Los Angeles and San Jose before wrapping January 23rd in Seattle.  Venues for the North American dates will be announced soon. 

Actress Claire Danes has signed on to narrate BACK FROM THE BRINK: SAVED FROM EXTINCTION, the stunning new Giant Screen film adventure that captures remarkable comeback stories of endangered species from around the world that are rebounding thanks to human efforts to save them. The film will launch in the USA and open worldwide in Giant Screen, IMAX®, and Digital 3D cinemas beginning October 26, 2019.

Today, SHOWTIME Documentary Films announced that THE KINGMAKER, the new film from Emmy® winning director Lauren Greenfield (The Queen of Versailles), will open in theaters in New York and Los Angeles on Friday, November 8. SHOWTIME is teaming up with Greenwich Entertainment, which released last year's Academy Award-winning documentary FREE SOLO, for theatrical distribution and will open THE KINGMAKER at The Quad in New York City and Laemmle's Royal Theater in Los Angeles. THE KINGMAKER, recently named to the DOC NYC Short List, debuted at the Venice Film Festival in August and traveled the festival circuit to sold out houses with premieres at the Telluride Film Festival, TIFF and Camden International Film Festival. The film will continue to play at festivals across the country before this theatrical run begins.

A new school year beckons for Motherland as the show has been commissioned for a third series on BBC Two from Merman, with Delightful Industries.

The Country Music Association has selected rising Country artists Angie K, Everette and Kylie Morgan as recipients of the second annual CMA KixStart Artist Scholarship. Throughout the year-long program, which officially launches Tuesday, Oct. 1, CMA will mentor the artists, connect them with top industry professionals, as well as provide them opportunities to participate in CMA-related events during CMA Awards, CMA Fest, international events and CMA Foundation programs. In addition to participating in these events, each KixStart artist will receive a stipend to assist with various facets of their developing career.

To launch the partnership, NHL fans will get a sneak peek to a yet to be released song called a?oeFire, Ready, Aim,a?? off Green Day's forthcoming thirteenth studio album, a?oeFather Of Alla?? a?oe (Reprise/Warner Records), which will serve as the opening theme song for NBCSN's Wednesday Night Hockey, debuting with the New Jersey Devils vs. Philadelphia Flyers game on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Lil Nas X quickly rose to fame with his song 'Old Town Road,a?? which broke the record for Billboard's longest-running No. 1 song of all time. The rapper, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, revealed his song 'Closure' was his way of coming out as gay.
