A&E Network has ordered a documentary pilot from prolific producer and director Doug Limon (The Bourne Ultimatum, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Swingers) titled 'The Unexplained,' which will focus on strange phenomena and paranormal experiences, it was announced today by Rob Sharenow, Senior Vice President, Non-Fiction & Alternative Programming for A&E Network and BIO Channel.

A&E Network has ordered 'Beyond Scared Straight!,' a four-hour special event executive produced by Arnold Shapiro and based on his Academy Award and multiple Emmy-Winning documentary 'Scared Straight!,' that will profile unique approaches to juvenile crime prevention in prisons around the U.S. The four-hour special event will premiere in Winter 2011.

The Hub Network Announces Launch of Original Series 'Clue'

CLUE, the iconic family-favorite board game, will come to The Hub as an original, half-hour live-action series, it was announced today by Margaret Loesch, President and CEO of the new network for kids and their families, which launches October 10 (10-10-10). The series, which will feature a youthful, ensemble cast (to be announced) working together to uncover clues and unravel mysteries, will be produced by Hasbro Studios.

Nick Sagan Signs Development Deal with Science Channel

Science Channel has signed sci-fi writer Nick Sagan, son of famed astrophysicist and television icon Carl Sagan, to an exclusive development deal, Debbie Myers, general manager and executive vice president of programming for Science Channel, announced today. Sagan is represented by Jonathan Swaden at CAA. Sagan will be working closely with Science Channel's production team, hosting and developing new series and specials for the network.
