After kicking off the inaugural season of Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater, shattering all box office records from Arena Stage's 60-year history and rounding up 10 Helen Hayes Awards nominations, Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! returns for a summer run under the direction of Artistic Director Molly Smith. The revival, featuring the entire original principal cast and most of the ensemble, has already broken more company records by selling the highest number of single tickets for a production in 24 hours when tickets went on sale March 3, 2011. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! runs July 8-October 2, 2011 in the Fichandler Stage.

Nominations in 14 categories and 3 special awards were announced today by the Off-Broadway League for the 2011 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. This year's ceremony will benefit The Actors Fund. A list of nominees follows below.

The Actors Fund is a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment. The Fund is a safety net, providing programs and services for those who are in need, crisis or transition.

JERUSALEM, the critically acclaimed and multi-award winning play by Jez Butterworth and starring Tony and Olivier Award-winner Mark Rylance (Boeing-Boeing, La Bête), is pleased to announce a rush ticket policy. The production, directed by Ian Rickson, begins previews on Saturday, April 2, prior to a Thursday, April 21 opening night at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). JERUSALEM will play a limited 16-week engagement.

A record 39 recipients of the 70th Annual Peabody Awards were announced today by the University of Georgia Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. The winners, chosen by the Peabody board as the best in electronic media for the year 2010, were named in a ceremony in the Peabody Gallery on the University of Georgia campus.

Previews for Born Yesterday, starring Jim Belushi, Robert Sean Leonard and Nina Arianda, start tonight, March 31, at Broadway's Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street) at 8 pm. Directed by Doug Hughes, this revival of Garson Kanin's award-winning comedy about sex and politics will open on Easter Sunday, April 24.

BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO is a new American play by Rajiv Joseph Starring Robin Williams in his Broadway acting debut and directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Moisés Kaufman. The production opens tonight, March 31, at the Richard Rogers Theatre!

Hosted by Christine Pedi, the 2011 MAC Awards will take place on Tuesday, Mat 10 and B.B. King Blues Club and Grill. The ceremony will honor Annie Ross for Lifetime Achievement and George Sanders with the MAC Board of Directors Award.

Original cast members Nathan Lane, Kevin Chamberlin, Terrence Mann, Carolee Carmello, Krysta Rodriguez and Wesley Taylor will give their final performances on Sunday, March 6.

Now in previews, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN will open on Broadway Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Neil Simon Theatre. Earl D. Weiner, Chairman of the Board, and Victoria Bailey, Executive Director of Theatre Development Fund [TDF], the not-for-profit service organization for the performing arts, announced today that Michael Naumann would be joining TDF as Managing Director. Mr. Naumann, a significant player in New York's theatrical community, leaves his position of Director of Finance at Frankel Green Theatrical Management (FGTM) to join TDF. Prior to his current post, Mr. Naumann served for 20 years as Director of Finance and Administration at Manhattan Theatre Club. He will assume his duties at TDF on May 9.

The Hartford Courant has confirmed that Audra McDonald will lead a new production of Porgy and Bess at A.R.T. A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus confirmed the news in a recent interview. According to the report, performances will begin in August at the Loeb Drama Center as the first show of the new season at the American Repertory Theater.
