Friends in Theater Company and State of Play Productions' THE SECRET GARDEN, a Broadway benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, presented the first of two sold-out performances last night, January 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lucille Lortel Theater. The fully staged production was led by Rebecca Luker as Lily, Gabriella Pizzolo as Mary, and Bradley Dean as Archie with Tom Deckman, Ali Ewoldt, Frances Mercanti-Anthony, Bill Nolte, Eli Tokash, Max von Essen, and Cortney Wolfson. Additionally, composer Lucy Simon and original cast member Daisy Egan co-hosted the night. The Public Theater just began performances for the 12th annual UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL last night, January 6. This popular and highly-anticipated program of The Public Theater's winter season will include artists from across the U.S. and around the world, including Belgium, Canada, Chile, France, Japan, and Rwanda. Curated by Co-Directors Mark Russell and Meiyin Wang, this year's UNDER THE RADAR will also launch a new series, Under the Radar + Joe's Pub: In Concert, which highlights artists who are working at the intersection of music and theater. The Tony Award-winning production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time celebrated a milestone today- its 500th performance on Broadway. The Broadway production of the National Theatre's The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time opened to critical acclaim at the Barrymore Theatre on October 5, 2014. The production has gone on to win five Tony Awards including Best Play, six Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Play, five Outer Critics Circle Awards including Outstanding Production of a Broadway Play, and the Drama League Award for Outstanding Production of a Broadway or off-Broadway Play.

After this September's last-minute cancellation of Staceyann Chin's new solo show MotherStruck!,  just opened last night, December 14 at the Lynn Redgrave Theater. Just last night, Roundabout Theatre Company presented the 50th Anniversary Season Benefit Reading of THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, starring Nathan Lane. Joining him were Austin Durant ('Expressman, Technician, Police Officer'), Peter Kim ('Sandy'), Mark Linn-Baker ('Dr. Bradley'), Ned Noyes('Michaelson/Westcott/Expressman'), Harrison Unger ('Stage Directions'), Richard Poe ('Mr. Stanley'), Lee Wilkof ('Banjo') and Mary Louise Wilson ('Harriet Stanley'). Brooklyn's newly restored Kings Theatre (1027 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY) will present the all-new U.S. tour of the beloved musical Annie in a limited 16 performance only engagement at the venue this holiday season, December 15 - 27, 2015. Second Stage's New York premiere production of INVISIBLE THREAD such opened at the Tony Kiser Theatre (305 W 43rd Street). Tony Award winner Diane Paulus directs the new musical production, written by Matt Gould andGriffin Matthews. Darrell Grand Moultrie co-choreographs with Sergio Trujillo as choreographer. 

Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere ofImportant Hats of the Twentieth Century, the new comedy by Emmy Award nominee Nick Jones, directed by Tony Award nominee Moritz von Stuelpnagel, opened last night, November 23, 2015 at The Studio at Stage II - Harold and Mimi Steinberg New Play Series at New York City Center - Stage II (131 West 55th Street).

Signature Theatre presents NIGHT IS A ROOM, written by Residency One playwright Naomi Wallace and directed byBill Rauch. NIGHT IS A ROOM, the third and final production of Wallace's residency, runs now through December 20, 2015 in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Paper Mill Playhouse will present A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL this holiday season. Based on the popular 1983 film, A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL has a book by Joseph Robinette with music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL will be directed byBrandon Ivie and choreographed by Mara Newbery Greer. A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL will run eight times a week at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from November 25, 2015, through January 3, 2016. The official press opening night is Sunday, November 29, at 7:00pm.

Just last night, the York Theatre Company honored Broadway and Hollywood legend Angela Lansbury with the 2015 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre. The evening's entertainment was directed by Kurt Stammc(York's Closer Than Ever; Our Sinatra), with music direction by Andrew Gerle (York's Closer Than Ever).

MCC Theater presents the New York premiere of John Pollono's LOST GIRLS. Golden Globe nominated star of stage and screen, Piper Perabo-who recently completed five seasons of the USA's popular drama series 'Covert Affairs' for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination, and was last seen onstage in the Broadway and MCC Theater productions of Neil LaBute's Reasons to be Pretty-stars alongside Ebon Moss-Bachrach (HBO's 'Girls'), Meghann Fahy (Next to Normal), Tasha Lawrence (Good People, The Whale), and newcomers Lizzy DeClement and Josh Green.

Rehearsals just began for the New York premiere of the Playwrights Horizons and production of MARJORIE PRIME, a new play byJordan Harrison, directed by Obie Award winner Anne Kauffman. A Playwrights Horizons Commission, MARJORIE PRIME was a 2015 Pulitzer Prize finalist and is the third production of Playwrights Horizons' 2015/2016 Season.

The sold-out benefit evening of 'BRIDGING THE GAP AND OTHER SHORT PLAYS BY WESLEY TAYLOR' -- an evening of readings of a collection of six new short plays by actor and playwright WESLEY TAYLOR to benefit The Actors Fund -- was just last night, October 26, at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).

The new Broadway production of D.L. Coburn's Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, The Gin Game, starring Tony Award winners James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson, opened last night, October 14 at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). Roundabout Theatre Company presents the Roundabout Underground world-premiere production of Ugly Lies the Bone by Lindsey Ferrentino, directed by Patricia McGregor, as part of the 50th Anniversary Season. The cast features Karron Graves (Kacie), Mamie Gummer (Jess), Caitlin O'Connell (Voice / Their Mom), Chris Stack (Stevie) and Haynes Thigpen (Kelvin). Roundabout welcomes back Mamie Gummer, who made her New York stage debut in Roundabout's 2005 production of Mr. Marmalade. The world premiere of Ugly Lies the Bone opened off-Broadway last night, October 13, 2015 at the Black Box Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This is a limited engagement through Sunday, November 22, 2015.
