Blue Apple Theatre and writer William Jessop re-invent Shakespeare's HAMLET in a fresh and powerful adaptation using Shakespeare's original language. History Theatre has announced its 35th season, which will kick-off with the Minnesota premiere of the Broadway hit Lombardi by Eric Simonson. The show will feature Jim Detmar as Vince Lombardi and Norah Long as Marie Lombardi, and promises to be a funny and passionate look at an American icon. History Theatre will celebrate the holiday season with the return of Christmas of Swing featuring the talents of Ruthie Baker, Patty Nieman, and Stacy Lindell as Patty, LaVerne, and Maxine - The Andrews Sisters.

It was announced today that JERSEY BOYS - The Story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons - has smashed the all-time box office record for a second week of trading by taking in excess of $NZ1.9 million gross, beating previous records by over $NZ500,000. The Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Award-winning musical JERSEY BOYS will make its much-anticipated return to Providence to play the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 through Sunday, September 2, 2012. Tickets will go on sale Sunday, May 6 at 8am.

A Memorial Tribute honoring THEODORE MANN, Circle in the Square's Co-Founder, Artistic Director, and Co-Producer, who passed away on February 24 at the age of 87, will be held at Circle in the Square Theatre, 1633 Broadway, at 50th Street, on Tuesday, May 1, at 1 p.m. Seating is open to the general public on a first come, first-served basis.
