Broadway veteran Justin Brill, in Portland with the National Tour of Wicked, will conduct a musical theatre master class at Lakewood Theatre Company on Wednesday, March 28, 11:00 AM. Mr. Brill will focus on singing technique, song selection, acting within a song and honing musical theatre audition technique. The master class is geared to actors interested in auditioning for productions, competitions, professional training and college or conservatory programs.

Broadway actor and producer Mark Linn-Baker will discuss the implications of short-term memory loss for an actor after the screening of Gaylen Ross's film Caris' Peace at the Rubin Museum on March 10 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15. Ticket includes: film, post-screening discussion, and admission to the museum's galleries.

USA's new season of Fairly Legal will feature guest appearances from Mark Moses and Meat Loaf, TV Line reports. The show enters its second season this spring and will also star Barry Shabaka Henley (FlashForward) and Ryan Johnson (Ghost Rider, Son of the Mask).

The Allman Brothers will reprise their Beacon Theater residency again this March, but the music doesn't stop when the curtain falls. Each weekend, The Iridium will host special late-night sets by some of the band's side projects, collaborators, and associates, including Duane Trucks, Jaimoe's Jasssz Band, Col. Bruce Hamptonand more. Special surprise guests will join the announced performers each night.

Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (LACO) steps outside the proverbial music 'box' to dish up a feast for foodies and classical music lovers alike at its "Westside Connections" chamber music series with a menu that pairs LACO's virtuosic musicians with iconic food writer JONATHAN GOLD, chef/restaurateur SUSAN FENIGER and culinary writer, chef and food philosopher MICHAEL RUHLMAN for an exploration of the relationship between music and culinary arts at Santa Monica's Broad Stage. Showcased on the menu for the three-concert Thursday-night series, curated by LACO Concertmaster Margaret Batjer, are LACO's musicians and conversations with Gold, Feniger and Ruhlman, who discuss the food-themed music as well as the talent, techniques and artistic expression involved in gastronomy. Each evening includes an opportunity for audience questions.

Honor Fraser will present BALLYHOO HULLABALOO HABOOB, Rosson Crow's second solo exhibition with the gallery. Exploring the intimate psychological and emotional dimensions of nationalistic collective memory, Crow creates a series of works that take as a point of departure the exuberance and sobering aspects of past and recent gilded eras. Known for her theatrical and lush paintings that often feature decadent interiors, this new investigation marks a shift in the artist's artistic process, tensely negotiating representational depictions and mnemonic interplay in painting. Rather than reproducing imagery associated with particular temporal and locational circumstances, the artist taps into mythologizing narratives, personal memories, and familial anecdotes to execute a psychoanalytic excavation of historical periods.

Eric Ankrim and Kelly Karbacz will go looking for love in First Date, a co-production between ACT - A Contemporary Theatre and The 5th Avenue Theatre. This new musical about one date, two people, and all the voices in their heads, also features Seattle stars Benjamin Harris, Vicki Noon, Brandon O'Neill, Rich Gray, Greg McCormick Allen, and Sonya Meyer, in roles including old boyfriends, ex-fiancees, best friends, and pushy relatives, not to mention fellow diners who intrude on the couple's blind date. The 5th Avenue's Producing Director Bill Berry directs this clever and quirky world premiere romantic comedy with musical staging by Broadway's Josh Prince. With a book by screenwriter Austin Winsberg and music and lyrics by the dynamic writing team of Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner, this comedy chronicles the perils and pitfalls of blind dating and the journey from "tragic mistake" to "true love." Or at least to a second date.

"Los Otros" will get its world premiere May 23-July 1, 2012 at the Mark Taper Forum.

''Amazing Race" Cast Members Danny Horal and Joey LaSalla will speak out for the first time about the war between ''The Jersey Shore'' cast members and themselves on Friday February 24, 2012 at 12noon in Manhattan. Danny and Joe have been reported in controversial statements about the two popular reality shows. They have also been voted to have the best male bodies in reality television. They are in town for a local homecoming this weekend.

The Bronx Museum of the Arts will present the work of Sarah Sze at the U.S. Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia, the 55th International Art Exhibition, on view from June through November 2013. Sze will create a sequence of constructed environments that will activate the Pavilion's architecture and extend beyond the building and into the courtyard-blurring perceptual boundaries between the site's interior and exterior.

The first visible sign of the arrival of Cirque du Soleil and its live production TOTEM in San Jose is the raising of the blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau (Big Top) and the set-up of the Cirque du Soleil Village. This event took place today at Taylor Street Bridge in San Jose where a team of 60-plus men and women have hoisted more than 100 steel poles from the ground up. Cirque du Soleil announced today 9 additional performances (week of April 11 to 15) to the San Jose engagement of TOTEM.

Composer, filmmaker, director and solo performer Mikel Rouse announces the May 1, 2012 release of his first double album, Boost|False Doors (Exit Music 1015-1016), through iTunes and all major retailers. The 1950s revue FOREVER PLAID is set to open March 15 at the new StarStruck Theatre in Stuart, Florida. This limited engagement will play for one weekend only, March 15-18.

Outside the March, the creative force behind last year's Mr. Marmalade, is teaming up with Dora Award-winning performer David Ferry and Theatre Passe Muraille to present the Canadian Premiere of Mike Daisey's The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs. The production will premiere in Toronto in May 2012, directed by OtM Co-Artistic Director Mitchell Cushman.
