On November 1, The New York Pops continued its 31st season in a return to the days when big bands ruled the dance floor with Tony Award nominee Montego Glover and Dave Bennett, clarinet, guest artists, joining the orchestra in an all-swing program, featuring a tribute to the 75th anniversary of Benny Goodman's legendary live recording at Carnegie Hall. Following eight sold-out years of readings at The Players Club in Gramercy Park, Gingold Theatrical Group's PROJECT SHAW, under the leadership of Artistic Director, David Staller, has officially moved to Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2895 Broadway at 95th St.). The debut Shaw play to inaugurate Project Shaw's new home was Shaw's Don Juan in Hell last night, October 28.

Gingold Theatrical Group's SHAW NEW YORK 2013 festival concludes on Sunday October 13th. Digital entertainment curator FilmBuff release the rocking documentary BROADWAY IDIOT chronicling the momentous collaboration between rock and roll icons, Green Day and the 'Great White Way' to create American Idiot on Broadway. The film will be released nationwide in theaters and on VOD October 18 with an exclusive theatrical engagement in New York beginning today, October 11th.
