Neil Byrne and Ryan Kelly are heading back on the road in the summer and fall of 2015 for another tour aptly named BYRNE AND KELLY. They will perform a mix of songs from their solo albums, some Celtic Thunder favorites and some new songs from an upcoming CD.

Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw, under the leadership of Artistic Director David Staller, just presented its 106th production, A Chekhov and Shaw Comedy Night, last night, September 21 at 7pm, at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2895 Broadway at 95th St.).

The John W. Engeman Theater is currently presenting WEST SIDE STORY, running through November 8, 2015. From the first notes to the final breath, WEST SIDE STORY is one of the most memorable musicals and greatest love stories of all time. The well-known and beloved score by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim is widely regarded as one of the best ever written. The Broadway's greatest love story takes to the streets in this landmark musical.

Playwrights Horizons and Center Theatre Group present The Christians, the New York premiere of a new play by Lucas Hnath (A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay About the Death of Walt Disney, Isaac's Eye, Death Tax). Directed by Obie Award winnerLes Waters (Doris to Darlene at PH; the recent 10 Out of 12; In the Next Room, or the vibrator play; Big Love; eurydice), the play is the opening production of the theater company's 2015/2016 Season.

Broadway quadruple threat and Bistro Award winner, Robert Creighton, recently seen as the title character in the critically lauded CAGNEY at The York Theatre Company, returned to 54 Below on Tuesday, September 15th at 7pm with AN EVENING WITH ROBERT CREIGHTON. Creighton, one of the busiest actors working in the musical theater, will sing his favorite music from the early decades of the 20th Century, along with his original songs.

Now in its ninth year, the Yale Drama Series Prize is given out annually for a play by an emerging playwright, selected by a judging panel of one - a preeminent playwright of our time.  The winner receives the David Charles Horn Prize of $10,000, as well as publication of the winning play by Yale University Press and a staged reading at Lincoln Center Theater's Claire Tow Theater.  The Yale Drama Series is an annual international open submission competition for emerging playwrights who are invited to submit original, unpublished, full-length, English language plays for consideration.  Seyda's play was selected from 1,478 entries from 47 countries.

Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro's critically acclaimed new comedy Clever Little Lies begins previews on Friday, September 18th for a strictly limited 16-week engagement. Opening night, originally announced for Wednesday, October 14th, is now set for Monday, October 12th at the Westside Theatre (Upstairs) (407 West 43rd Street). As previously announced, Clever Little Lies stars Emmy, Grammy, and Golden Globe Award-winner Marlo Thomas, Greg Mullavey, George Merrick and Kate Wetherhead, with direction by David Saint.

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, just presented Carter Calvert & the world premiere performance of her new CD, 'It's a Man's World'. An ever-evolving artist, Calvert's latest project is a collaboration with two household names in jazz: Grammy® award-winning Ulysses Owens, Jr. (Producer/Drums) and Grammy® award-winning Laurence Hobgood (Arranger/Piano), renowned for their imagination and artistry. The end result is a collection of hits originally made famous by iconic male artists, re-imagined and sung from a woman's point of view. It's A Man's World gives Calvert a vehicle to soar, and soar she does.

While the group Celtic Thunder takes a break from their large venue tours, their newest member, Emmett, will be performing more intimate shows. A lover of popular music standards and Broadway show tunes, Emmett will be singing an array of some of his favorites.

KOTA Productions presents the United States premiere of Jo Noel-Hartley's new original musical, Dream Street. The cast features Andrew Southern as Sebastian Rickter,Bray Wilkins as Tom, Amy Alvino as Laura, Bob Cohen as Eric, Kitty Ostapowicz as Leticia Moon/Mrs. Dewberry, Luisa Maria Badaracco as Heather, David Michael Kirby as Rupert Finch, and Juliana Fadeyev as Maggie Finch.

Volunteers of America-Greater New York (VOA-GNY) have launched OPERATION BACKPACK 2015, its annual drive to collect new backpacks filled with brand new, grade-specific school supplies for thousands of children living in New York City's homeless and domestic violence shelters. Broadway actress Paige Davis has been the spokesperson for OPERATION BACKPACK for the past ten years. This year, with family homelessness at an all-time high, the organization's goal is to outfit 20,000 New York City children with backpacks in time for the first day of the school year. Based on the Broadway musical thriller written by Frank Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse, Jekyll & Hyde Resurrection is a live concert featuring the music and songs from the 2006 album starring Rob Evan and Kate Shindle, and produced byFrank Wildhorn and Jeremy Roberts. The album inspired a full symphonic version of the musical that toured the US and South Korea directed by Producer/Director Vincent Marini. This musical retelling of the Robert Louis Stevenson classic takes a modern, dark and Rock influenced approach with the three stars and a full rock band delivering the highly charged and melodic score. On August 7, Pink Martini performed with New York Pops at its inaugural summer series at its new home, Forest Hills Stadium. The genre-defying Portland, Oregon-based band features lead singers China Forbes and Storm Large, alongside bandleader Thomas Lauderdale and several other instrumentalists.
