Last night, May 4, 2015, The New York Pops marked its 32nd birthday with a grand gala evening celebrating the work of Music Honorees Kathleen Marshall and Rob Marshall and Corporate Honoree Carrie and Ted Pryor, Greenwich Harbor Partners. Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) just presented celebrated Irish tenor Ronan Tynan in a special gala performance, 'The Tenor on Main,' at Patchogue Theatre on Saturday, April 25, at 7 p.m. The gala benefits the nonprofit by raising funds for future programming at the theatre.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Andrew Levine, Executive Director), as part of its acclaimed Developmental Readings Series, presented CALL MY PUBLICIST! - The Starry Education of a Broadway Press Agent, written and performed by Joshua Ellis. This premiere reading, directed by Gretchen Cryer was presented for one-performance only last night, April 8, 2015 at The York Theatre Company.

Celebrating its 10th year, Gingold Theatrical Group's PROJECT SHAW, under the leadership of Founding Artistic Director David Staller, just presented its 102nd production, Shaw's 1910 high-flying comedy Misalliance, last night at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2895 Broadway at 95th St.).

The High Chaparral Reunion held its 2015 gathering from March 19th to March 22nd with celebrities Henry Darrow, Don Collier, Rudy Ramos, and Kent and Susan McCray in attendance. At a ceremony held Thursday night in New York, the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs announced the winners of the 2015 MAC Awards. Just last night, Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) presented its landmark 30th Anniversary Gala, at The Pierre (2 East 61st Street at 5th Avenue). Directed by Neil Pepe with musical direction by Matt Gallagher, the annual gala celebrated thirty Atlantic seasons with an evening of music and performances from the Atlantic Ensemble and celebrity artists and honor Charles R. Bendit and Paul E. Pariser, co-CEOs of Taconic Investment Partners for their long-time partnership with Atlantic.

Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of The World of Extreme Happiness, the new play by Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig, directed by Eric Ting, began performances on February 3 at MTC's New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street).
