Tenor Ronan Tynan just returned to Westchester Broadway Theatre on May 17th, 2016. He is known for his versatile range of repertoire. It includes the operatic, oratorio, concert, and popular music genres. Tynan has performed in concert halls across the United States and internationally including Metropolitan Opera House, Carnegie Hall, Avery Fischer Hall, Lincoln Center and Radio City Music Hall. He has appeared on many television shows and is famous for his performances of 'God Bless America' at Yankee Stadium during the seventh-inning stretch. In the wake of 9/11, he performed at benefits and memorial services for New York's Finest and Bravest.

The 2016 Fred and Adele Astaire Awards gala was held just last night, May 16, to honor outstanding dance and choreography on Broadway, off-Broadway, and in film, at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place). The Encores! production of Do I Hear a Waltz?, the romantic, rarely-seen 1965 musical that marked the only collaboration of Richard Rodgers and Stephen Sondheim, just conluded its seven performance run over the weekend. On April 8, 2016, at 8:00PM, The New York Pops took center stage at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage in The Music of John Williams: From Spielberg to Star Wars. Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke lead the orchestra in a celebration of the work of legendary film composer John Williams, with a strong focus on his collaborations with Academy Award-winning director Steven Spielberg. The orchestra breathed life into some of cinema's most iconic scores, including selections from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Jurassic Park. The concert also included a look at Williams' seminal scoring of the Star Wars films, from their beginnings in the 1970s to today's The Force Awakens. Earlier this week, the hit musical Kinky Boots celebrated its three-year anniversary on Broadway, making it the longest running show to ever play the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street), a record previously held by the original production of The Man of La Mancha.
