PS Classics will release a recording of 'Life Begins at 8:40' on June 8. The Harold Arlen, Ira Gershwin and Yip Harburg collabrative revue was presented in concert at The Library Of Congress on March 22 with Kate Baldwin, Montego Glover, Philip Chaffin, Christopher Fitzgerald, Rebecca Luker, Brad Oscar, Graham Rowat, Jessica Stone and Faith Prince. Both the concert and the recording were conducted by Aaron Grandy.

The dinner menu will be designed by Jamie Lauren of 'Top Chef.'

The BBC Proms had dedicated its July 31st concert to celebrate Stephen Sondheim's 80th birthday. The concert, entitled 'Sondheim at 80,' will feature selections from some of Sondheim's greatest works including SWEENEY TODD, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, COMPANY, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, INTO THE WOODS and PACIFIC OVERTURES.

Michel Camilo will end its run at the Blue Note with his seasoned trio featuring bassist Charles Flores and drummer Cliff Almond on April 25th. Camilo will perform selections from his most recent recording, Spirit of the Moment, released by Telarc in 2007.

Kenny Ortega will be awarded the Douglas Watt Lifetime Achievement Award on June 7th when the Fred and Adele Astaire Awards are presented in a ceremony at the Gerald Lynch Theatre at John Jay College. The ceremony will also include performances by Robin Cofer and Ronald K. Brown's Evidence Dance Company, there will also be a spercial tribute to Ortega.

Sam Mendes will return to the theatre to direct a production of KING LEAR at the Royal National Theatre in 2012. The production will star Simon Russell Beale as King Lear.

Megan Mullally will reprise her role as Ron's (Mullally's real-life husband Nick Offerman) conniving ex-wife Tammy on 'Parks and Recreation'for their third season, airing in the fall.
